TO Interview

TO was interviewed tonight by Berman at halftime. I may be in the minority here but I think this guy is getting a abd rap. I meam if you average his deal out over the next two years it doesn't even put him into the top 10 among WR's. I realized he signed the contract he signed but he deserves more and has proven his worth.

I think the fact he got on the field in the SB while still hurt and played the way he did should weigh in their decision but he signed a deal...i can't look past that...he signed it.

I hear what you are saying but I would want the most I could get also. Infact I once signed an offer letter than took a different job the next day due to the difference in pay/benefits. Bottom line is that I can't blame him and I think someone will trade for him and pay him.

I saw his interview on PTI this afternoon. He was there being interviewed with his agent Drew Rosenhaus. T.O. came off as an egotistical cry baby admitting that he told his OC that he should not speak to him unless spoken to. Called Donovan McNabb a hypocrite. Drew was his usual sleazy self. I have no sympathy for this man. Sure, what he did in the SB was amazing. Still, he got the trade he wanted, he signed that contract and now he's disrupting the team because he want's more money. He's taking his cause to the airwaves and trying to win a public relations war. The man is a child. A great talent, but a dink. I wouldn't want him on my team. Of all the popular sports, Football is the most team oriented. This guy can't spell team.

The best move, IMO, would be a trade. But aren't the cap implications pretty bad for Philly?

I wouldn't touch him with a 10-ft pole.

Look how he is killing Andy Reid and Donavon McNabb...what would he do to Herm and Penny after 3 weeks?

True but coles trashed gibbs. Dillon trashed the Bengals. I mean there could be a reason for it.

With TO..it's become his MO..a pattern.

Everywhere he goes he sh*ts on someone. It's TO's way or no way at all.

the kid isn't above the game...I don't like guys who think they are.

Things change.

RS

The point is, they change when TO wants them to change.

He is unhappy with the 49ers, makes a stink and gets traded.

He doesn't like the trade and works his way out of it and does.

He wants to go to the Eagles and signs a 48 million dollar 7 year contract.

He plays like a mad man, gets hurt but still convinces them to let him play in the Super Bowl ($$).

He loses and now wants more money.

Come on. He is a self centered jerk who has the loyalty of a horny dog in a pound full of bitches.

There is no doubting he went there and signed that contract.

But what someone is worth is really a relative term. I mean if the Eagles are happy with just getting to the playoffs than don't keep him happy and get rid of him. And the Eagles did not allow him to play in the playoffs TO signed a waiver so he could play against what the eagles and thier doctors advised.

This whole contract thing works both ways. If a player is not happy with it and should be paid more money than I believe he should get it. Just like if he signs a phat contract and sucks he should get cut.

He should get the money.

The Eagles organization sucks and if they think they can win without TO, they're wrong.

No TO, No Mitchell, No Pinkston.

Greg Lewis and Reggie Brown and Billy McMullen are all unproven and havn't started 1 game.

I hope TO sits out, I do.

I've been working my a$$ off at work and have obviously reached a level above the contact signed between my union and the city. I'd like a new deal with substancial raise as well.

Perhaps you should ignore all of your co-workers, tell the Police Chief that you're more important than he is, become best friends with a lawyer, and bitch about your force within hearing distance of the press. (sarcasm, of course).

How can anyone, ANYONE, say that this stupid selfish prick is still getting a bad rap? What does he have to do to actually deserve our disgust? Any single player that insults his QB's (Garcia, McNabb) Puts himself above the team, ignores his coaches, chats on his ******* cell-phone while being interviewed on TV,... is a gigantic, collossal, undeniable POS. End of Story.

good post garb. to is poisonous dogsh*t. I would love nothing more than to see all the owners get together, make a pact to ban together & put him out to pasture & never EVER play another down in the nfl

he sets a bad precedent for the nfl

This from Manny Ramirez's biggest fan! I didnt even need 2 weeks to expose you as a fraud, Miss Garb. Though I dont think youre a fraud 100% of the time...more of a contrarian, ball-busting pain in the @ss most of the time.

This guy is a troublemaker...remember that he was originally slated to be traded to the Ravens...then he punked them out and the philly trade happened. HE WANTED TO BE AN EAGLE...then he signed a CONTRACT...he agreed to the terms..

Don't contracts mean anything anymore?

You're comparing TO to Manny Ramirez? Manny - nice guy. TO - asswipe. Manny - buy iPod's for the bat boys. TO - doesn't want the water boys talking to him. TO compalins about money. Manny doesn't even know how much money he makes. Manny - loved by his teammates, with the exception of the two real jerks on the team, Schill and Wells. TO - hated by the entire league.

Please.....

Two things-

Rosenhaus and TO are running aorund saying that he's not in the top 10 in salary for WRs, but as per ESPN in fact he is. He is also due a roster bonus of $7 million next March which if he played nice would be a given. He signed this eagles contract after being

advised not to do so by the NFLPA attorneys.

Second, as per FAN yesterday, Rosenhaus was overheard in the Miami airport on his cell telling someone loudly they should have an injury undetectable on x-ray, MRI or catscan, such as a pulled groin. And lo and behold, what injury does TO come down with but a sore groin, which cannot be picked up?

This is all about TO being a jerk and Rosenhause trying to get a new contract and more importantly a big commission for himself.

Drew Rosenhaus reminds me of one of those bad guys from an 80's movie...the one who tries to talk the girl-next-door type into doing porn or prostitution or some such evil institution, then gets his ass kicked by the under-sized good guy, who rides off into the sunset with the girl-next-door.

Is it just me?

Spot on, Garb. I saw that 8 minutes of self indulgent crap as well. Philly can't trade him, as it would be an over 8 million dollar cap hit. So, they're kinda stuck with him.

You see, what's different between TO wanting a new contract and someone like Javon Walker or Richard Seymour wanting a new contract is this: TO signed his last year (like was stated, against the advice of the NFLPA's attornies), Seymour and Walker were on their rookie deals still and have far out performed said contracts. TO had only one good season in Philly. Who's to say this year he sucks it up? Or became a major pain in the ass (like he did already)? With TO, it's his motivation. It's what he does where ever he goes. He bashed Mooch til he was fired. He bashed Jeff Garcia til he was let go. He whined and cried his way out of town and on to two teams! He signed a piss poor contract. He made his bed, now he has to lie in it.
