Savage69 Posted August 15, 2005 Share Posted August 15, 2005 Because Martin is Herms daddy! What Martin wants, he gets, bottom line. He wanted to go out there, maybe he was being selfish, who knows? But the fact is if Martin said he is ready to go and you are paying him all that money, Herms hands are really tied. It would be a sticky situation for Herm if he didnt allow Martin to play when Martin wanted to and said he could. It wasnt like the doctors werent clearing Martin to play with the ankle sprains, he was never ruled out of the game by doctors. Herm had really no choice but to stick with Martin. Sometimes I think Martin is alittle selfish the way he always wants the ball, but thats what winners are, they always want the ball, thats the way it is. But I understand what you're saying, savage. You know something EB..Young or not you understand things better then most here 2 or 3 times your age! I'm not teasing you anymore!! Of course we couldn't have signed Jordan! My Question has always been why not use him when he was here?? You People have the same way of thinking that has caused our failure for the last 36 years!! NEVER use a Player if it pisses off a Vet!! Unbelievable!! I've never said sit Martin!! Only if a Healthy or rested player could do better!! Why are some of you so afraid if Jordan would have done well..Does that not help the Team? in all the martin, coaching staff, and front office bashing that you do this is a great point. albeit a 2 year old point. First off I really don't bash Martin as much as point out to Martinette's some truth now and then! And the only Coach I question is Hermie! I think he's a Great Guy but a terrible Game Day Coach!
