Today we have double practices and the same tomorrow. Camp is never fun but is always taxing on the mind and the body. We play the VIkings on Friday, and much is being made about Chad playing this week. I'm sure he's excited, as any player coming off an injury would be, but again, it's just pre-season. Last week against the Lions, the first units did well. The first team offense, led by Jay Feidler, finished a 16 play drive with a one yard plunge for a touchdown. This after the first team defense made a nice stand to get the ball back. Only on penalty was committed and one turnover off a tipped pass. Once the 2's and 3's entered the game, it got a little ugly. But the one thing that matters most is we won, we competed, and young guy got plenty of reps. With cuts coming after next week's game you can expect the intensity around Weeb Eubank hall to pick up. Guys trying to make the team makes for great competition.
