There comes a time where you have to go with younger players- Brown will if released end up coaching possibly or trying to catch on and keep playing what do you think Garb? Garb Posted August 29, 2005 Author Share Posted August 29, 2005 I still think he makes the team.....just not as convinced as I was before. I mean, who else will catch balls in the slot? Who does it better? Branch and Givens are the starters - and Branch hasn't played this pre-season because of his injury history. Dwight has performed exceptionally well - and is a burner for sure, but a slot guy? He'll get killed by a linebacker. Bethel is a lock for PUP. Terrell is getting horrible reviews. Davis is new - so who knows. Sam, again, who knows. Childress and Anderson - one of PS the other goes bye-bye. It's those damned "who knows" guys! I'm nervous. If Brown gets cut I will honestly cry.
