Well, he's back. How many games does he miss this year? O/U is at 7. He'll be actually injured for three of them.

the better question is... how many games will penny boy wonder miss this year with Adrian Jones at RT?

I see in one of the articles I read Abe is complaining about the bad press and about comments being made about him

Like being called a alcoholic and not playing when he was hurt. He has 6.7 million paycheck to sooth his feelings

I, for one, am thrilled to have him back. I know it's only been preseason, but the first unit has gotten very little pressure on opposing QB's. Obviously a major problem. JAbe is the answer.

And I think it's okay if he sees limited playing time the first 2 to 3 weeks of the season; less wear and tear on his body early in the season may translate to his being there when we need him in the post season.

Carry on.

Beyond all the disappointment with John Abe as a person and his decisions to hold out, there is one simple fact that Jet fans need to get used to.

John Abe makes the Jets a better defense when he is playing.

Period.

End of story.

So, while I am not happy with his holding out, injuries, his past "sicknesses", his attitude and all of the rest, I am willing to see him hit the field, dominate in the games and play the full season.

We can re-evaluate his value at the end of this year.

For now though, welcome back John.
