124
Am I the only one who thinks this guy deserves to be the #5 corner for this team this season? Bigby has done nothing but impress me all Preseason long and between the battle of himself, Haw and a couple of others I'd take Bigby eaisly, hopefully he is rewarded with the #5 CB slot behind Law, Barrett, Strait and Miller. R44
I'm not gonna dispute your opinions Section, because I didn't really watch the game (although I did catch Bigby's Interception).... But, I was under the impression that Bigby was strictly a safety? That being said, maybe he sticks as a general DB? Jets certainly need DB's with the injuries and roster moves. Plus, he's from a Tampa school, that's were Hermie resides.

Bigby was playing corner all night from what I saw Rigs and in the Minnesota game he was...or at least I thought so. Either way he impressed me and if he was indeed a Safety, even though I could've sworn he was playing CB he could make this team with Rhodes, Celestin, Coleman and himself as the S's with Maddox on IR. But I really do believe he's playing CB for the Jets.
R44
Section, like I said, I didn't watch the game, so I'm not sure....I think you maybe onto something--he might make the team. BTY, we followed Bigby quite a bit for DD.com in the spring--how could you ignore that name? Anyway, he's had a weird road to the Jets.... First, we expected him to get drated and he didn't.... ....Then it took him over a week (maybe 2 weeks) to sign as an undrafted free agent with Miami (most UFA's sign right after the draft).... Then Miami abruptly cuts him....weird road, but he's got a shot here. Here are Bigby's combine #'s... Bigby, Atari SS Central Florida 5106 ht. 214 wt. 19 bench press N/A N/A 40 yard dash (ran 4.53 at Pro Day) 35 vertical 9-4 broad jump 4.10 short shuttle 7.00 3-cone drill
124
R44, thanks for the info man and Bigby is playing CB for the Jets, RCB behind Barrett. It's between him and Darrien Johnson and Brandon Haw for the #5 spot and I think Bigby should get it.
raffyD
Bigby looked fantastic tonight, all over the field popping pads, looked like a mean hitter. I think he earned the job tonight, I hope so at least.

He played along side Assante Samuels, who had a pretty good year last year.

Green Jets & Ham
On a serious note, Rigby can ball ... he was one of the most heralded small school DB's Definitely a PS candidate
lawngnome o-line
Bigby was chewed apart at practice though on many occasions. He looked lost out there throughout all of training camp. I don't care who else is in there, but he is undersized, slow, and not field smart. The INT he had vs. the eagles i could have caught.
