faba
It always will be in the preseason you do not run all your plays. Chiefs did not see all that we have with Dinger in control based on his past with the Titans I would expect to see Jolley and Baker used more often. Also Blaylock out of the backfield

Also Blaylock out of the backfield Sure, but you still have to be concerned. I don't think the Jets can go score for score with them for 60 minutes the way a team like the Colt's can. Jets D talked a good game all pre-season, lets see them back the talk up and hold the Chiefs to 13, 17 points.

Preston Howley III
Sorry, not gonna happen. Better score those 13/17 points in the first half; don't underestimate Hendu's ability to make adjustments and shut opponents down in the second half. Ty Law is still Ty Law, turnovers happen etc.

He's going into a new defensive scheme, and coming off of an injury only 2 players have ever returned from, and I don't think he'll perform up to his hype. I trust our front office when they put his foot to the test prior to signing him. I'm betting he's pretty close to 100% & will not get exposed by any of your wideouts

I much prefer our corner back duo over pat & dexter, & I like our wr's a whole lot more as well above mentioned battles .........advantage jets should not be a boring game at all & I think it'll be the game of the week
124
The Kansas City Chefs don't stand a chance. 21-17 Jets...KC gets that late TD to make it close. Skillwise, maybe Law in his prime was the best cover corner in the NFL, now all of us have to wait and see how his foot respond and hold through the season, I'm a huge Law fan but I have my doubts about his health, hope for him and for the jets he will be the player we used to know, he and the entire jets d are up for a huge test. As for the WR's maybe the jets have the names, but as far as production, meaning the whole pass yardage and TD's, our passing attack is way better than, not only the jets but the majority of the NFL, and that is what it counts not the names. joewilly
tiatoani, surtain has lost a step or 2 himself since his prime. I can't argue with you about the chiefs offensive production, cause due to the frontline, its been stellar. chad comes into the season with questionmarks & for good reason, but there is a very strong possibility our offense runs on all cylinders this year & could be scary in our own rights. I don't think we could beat you in a shootout & I don't think we'll have to. I think we have one of the top d's in the league. we shutdown a lot of good o's last year ewspecially in the 2nd half of both the season & the games. I think you're gonna see a lot of pressure on green with some killa blitz pkgs. kc is favored by the only experts I trust, the bookies, which scares me as they say.....thats why they play the games

AMDChief
i bet AMD chief gets anal quite often, not like he has any other options with that orientation Wow, 12yo humor.... sorry, 10 yo humor. I think we have one of the top d's in the league. we shutdown a lot of good o's last year ewspecially in the 2nd half of both the season & the games. I really think the "top d's in the league" is somewhat misleading. Who did you guys play last year? Offensive rank: Cin = 18th SD = 10th MIA = 29th x2 BUF = 25th x2 SF = 26th NE = 7th x2 BAL = 31st CLE = 28th AZ = 27th HOU= 19th PIT=16th SEA = 8th STL = 6th You guys faced a top 10 Offensive Team 5 times last year and lost 3 of those - over half your games were facing offenses from the 19th or lower rank.... not hard to see where the "D" numbers come from. Don't get me wrong. I think it's going to be a great game and hope this doesnt turn into a smacktard feast. (fun smack is ok) Just thought I would point out what that "D" actually faced... "If" KC's defense gels - nothing will stop them.

vinnys025
I say that this sunday D!ck Vermin will have a breakdown at the worst possible time....here's how. The Jets will be up by 4 with 10 seconds left, then Tony G will make an amazing catch on the 1 yard line with 3 seconds left, then Trent will call timeout. Ok, then Vermile will be so happy with Gonzales, that he will break down on his knees and cry, and I mean break out LOUD BALLING. Now, the tears are flowing like Niagra Falls so he cant see the plays and fails to call the right play. So a 5 yard penalty for delay of game run off, then another, and another, finally after about 25 minuts, he stops crying and can now see the board....but now they are about 80 yards from the goaline and they loose with a final hail mary attempt.....yup, thats how its going down. joewilly
amd I think the same analogy could be used for your #1 offense. you guys ran up pts on a lot of weak teams. i'm not gonna look up stats to prove my pt cause I don't care enough about last years #s. Henderson is now in his 2nd year running this show & our young guys have another year of experience under their belts of this new system. there is a real swagger to our d unit coming into this year & for good reason. You guys will find out on sunday that good d's win football games. don't get me wrong, you guys are a great organisation & this is a tough game for both teams, but the jets d is in fact good enough to win this game with an average offense & all arrows point to us having a better than average offense. SO TAKE THAT TO YO MOMMA!!!
