4HCrew
I know here come the cliches winning is the only thing, there are no positives in losing etc BUT do any of you feel there could be a good loss this weekend instead of everyone hitting the panic button and wanting Herm fired and Chad benched? Not trying to be negative just curious to see the responses.

mudcat21
Only good a loss this week will do is make the Jets want to slaughter the Phish next week in the home opener.
faba
To be an elite team we have to win this game- yes it is on the road in a tough place to play but to win this division this is a game we need to win. Wild card willl not do it in the playoffs
BwanaZulia
Yes, a good loss would be.. - A KC loss - A BUF loss - A MIA loss All good in my book. BZ

The Troll
Read Bugg's sig. This ain't 1996 anymore. There is no excuse for losing and it's unacceptable.
DHJF
There is no excuse for losing and it's unacceptable. Please. You can't expect your team to win every single game. It's simply unrealistic.

Boozer76
Interesting little tidbit: The Chiefs are 1-3 in home openers under Dick Vermiel. The one win came when D Hall blew up and scored like 50 special teams TD's. Had he not had that performance, they would have easily been 0-4 in home openers. Not that history has much to do with the present, but it is worth noting.
SouthernJet
if we lose close no big deal,,3 pt under dog anywys,,u just dont want to lose a home game,,then u have to win a road game where u r underdog to catch up
Greensince69
Have to win this game if your are thinking this year will be special. It won't be easy, but great teams win big games. No we will not win every game this year but this will not be a "good" loss. Offense needs to click against a mediocer D anf D has to put cositant pressure on the CHiefs. Need to keep priest under control, 80 yards one TD. Jets 30, Chiefs

Bob
There can be no good in starting the year a game behind the Patsies and losing to the mediocre Chefs. None.
Bugg
If this team has a realistic shot of going all the way, a road game vs. a weak AFC team is a mUSt win. Invariably there will be brainfarts along the way. but if you're goiong to need 11-13 wins to win the AFC East, beating a lowly in-conference team is a must. Either the Jets are going places or this is another "get'em next year," which is a joke. Pats didn't look so special vs. the Raiders and can eb ahd, the Saban and Losman won't have their acts together as they will in 2006. It's there RIGHT NOW. CARPE FREAKING DIEM! Either think BIG or be gone. Ladies and gentlmen-it's year 5 of the Bradway/Edwards regime, which is long enough; we have our big-time QB in place; we franshised that special pass rushing jackass; Martin and Law will be a year older in 2005; IF THIS ISN'T THE YEAR, WHEN WILL IT BE? IT'S NOW, GODDAMN IT!RIGHT NOW!

Bugg
As to "biggest spread", the Jets are getting 3 points. They'll get more points at Ravens, Pats, Broncos, Falcons, Panthers and probably the Bills.
