TomShane
No running quarterback has ever won a Super Bowl. Elway and Steve Young didn't win it until the STOPPED running. McNabb didn't get his team over the hump until he STOPPED running. Mike Vick will be a first-round knockout until he starts throwing it better. I mention this because I'm watching Ohio State-Texas and I can't get over how poorly Vince Young reads a defense and how flawed his throwing motion is. He was compared to Randall Cunningham, who never won jack despite playing behind one of the best defenses in the history of football. I think that's a pretty good comparison. If I was an NFL GM, Young would not be picked by me until the third, fourth round.
faba
I agree with Young _I am not impressed with him as a QB -as a runner is another story. Bobby Douglas but quicker and bigger
Barton
I agree. Seems like there are ALOT of these QBs in college football who arent quarterbacks.

124
Who cares if Vince Young can't play QB in the Pro's? We're watching him shine in college, much like we did with Chris Weinke, Eric Crouch and Jason White.
Alk
Vince Young has all the makings of an out of this world WR in the NFL. I mean he could be Randy Moss good. But he would need to give up QBing like now which ain't going to happen.

Alk
pssst. He is not that fast. They have him listed there with a 4.48 40. At 6'5" 230 lbs. that is one mean WR, if his hands work.

Blackout
tomshame, what do you think about young now?
R44
Young had a real good game....I know for a fact NFL scouts differ on him: Some say he's another Matt Jones (WR); others feel he's a 1st round QB. He had a great night tonight against a tough defense with a bunch of NFL prospects. And seems to have improved his accuracy from the 2004 season. He'll definitely get a shot at QB in the NFL, but it remains to be seen how well he does once he's there. All in all, OSU's 2-headed QB duo really failed them in the end....But Young was impressive. BTY, word around Texas is Young intends to leave early for the NFL at this point...Although Young denies it, Texas is actively looking for someone to replace him already. MasonJet
pssst. He is not that fast. I'm a Michigan fan and boy did he rip us apart in the Rose Bowl last year. We would have crushed Texas in that game if not for Young. How good will he be in the pros? I dunno, but he's amazing right now. And he made a very nice TD pass to give Texas the lead with under 3 minutes left.
Xcel2NuFX
Yeah I think Vince Young is overrated as a QB he's not bad but I don't see him making it in the NFL as a QB at least. I think everyone is entitled to my opinion and I think Adrian Peterson is the greatest college football player I have seen since Barry Sanders I would take an 0-16 season to get him as CM's heir apparent
