Bagli, of the New York Times, reports the New York Jets have requested a ten year extension to use Giants Stadium through 2018. The extension does include a loophole to allow the Jets to vacate the Meadowlands at the end of a season. The Jets would have to pay a penalty, but the amount would decrease over time.
