Smizzy
Jets | Pouha Making Progress Thu, 15 Sep 2005 14:00:17 -0700 Randy Lange, of the Bergen Record, reports New York Jets rookie DT Sione Pouha did not play on defense during the Week 1 game against the Kansas City Chiefs. However, Jets head coach Herman Edwards said Pouha is making progress towards moving into the defensive tackle rotation. "He's got a lot to learn, but he's getting better," said Edwards. "He's got a big body. He's got to use his hands and feet better together. Once he does that, he's going to be a good player for us."

Barton
Herm is just setting in all up for Reed to be taking out of the starting role. Thank God.

Fred Jetstone
Reed is a special teams player at best. It was a huge miscalculation playing him on the line like that. I've got my fingers crossed for Sione. I even have a nickname chosen if he does well. The Grand Pouha Hahahahahah

TomShane
F*cking Herm mocking anyone for not knowing what they're doing is quite funny. At least Pouha doesn't have an entire NFL NFilms special detailing what an absolute f*cking retard he is, unlike Herman (see: Jets v. Baltimore). BTW, How does Pouha not even get a snap against the Chiefs? Were DRob and Reed just so dominant that the Great Herm didn't want to ruin their groove? I agree it should've been more, particularly in the 4th quarter when the game was over and he could've gotten some work.

If we give you another three years, do you think you can still go on and on and on and on and on about one game? I bet you can. BZ

BwanaZulia
That game embodies Herm's entire career!!!! Really? One bad loss embodies a new HC who has taken his team to the playoffs 75% of the time? Oooooooooooooookaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay..... No matter how much you say it, it doesn't make it true. BZ and no matter how many times you present rationality and sense to TS, you won't change his mind. It wouldn't matter how many games the Jets won, TS would still be calling for Herm's head. Herm is not the greatest coach ever, at best now, he is an above average coach, but around here you would think he had lead this team to three seasons of 1-15.
