lawngnome o-line Posted September 19, 2005 Share Posted September 19, 2005 Everyone knows what we are doing on offense. I sat in the seats today, and called out every play on the Jets first drive. Every game last year and every game this year they have started off the season with a run. It's a small thing but if I can pick it up without actually doing any research, that's pretty bad. Today and everyone knows that 2nd and long we do a draw (or bad running play). 3rd and long we don't go deep. The only downs that we attempt for the deep ball (with chad's wonderful arm) is 1st down or 2nd and short (3-5). I know that we hated hackett but it wasn't his play book that was bad it was his play calling. I don't think so far that we have improved with the offense. Barton Posted September 19, 2005 Share Posted September 19, 2005 Dinger was calling far too many 2nd down runs. It was stupid and the dolphins knew it was coming.
