I remmember watch the Last game and they had a close up of his eye, it seemed as though his right eye was all messed up from getting punched. Im still watching uncessary roughness and he's on it with sunglass's, usually he doesn't wear sunglasses, and when asked by the host he made up some bullsh*t were the host was laughin and asked about getting punched in the eye, and vilma was pretty adimant about not answering it.

...would you show your ugly black eye if the world knows someone decked you in it?....he's not hurt. he's hiding that punch that Reed gave him. Saw him monday. he was fine with the same shades on...embarrassed maybe...hurt..no.

You ever get sucker-punched in the eye?

Its probably all bloodshot and messed up.

I agree with Smizzy. I was one of "Tank"'s biggest fans (undersized DT with a motor) but now, cut his ass.

it's ridiculous that Reed decked the leader of the defense when he was called out for being a punk b|tch.

One of the first plays from scrimmage at the KC game, Reed got pancaked so quickly and so viciously by Brian Waters that Waters was able to block Vilma as well and the KC RB ran for 35.

And then he DECKS Vilma as an encore?

The guy is worthless. In general, I can't believe our starting NT is a 270 pound bulked up LB. In specific he should have been cut on the spot for his behavior at KC. THe man is a punk.

Call him a punk, but he don't take sh*t from nobody. At the end of the day, when you're at work getting pissed on by your boss without standing up to him or her, ask yourself, "Am I an a$$hole for letting the bigshot belittle me?" Then decide whether or not Tank did the right thing. Face it, he knew decking Vilma could get him cut. But he decided he was a man and nobody was going to humiliate him. So he swung away and gave the bigshot a black eye. I like Vilma. But I love James Reed. He may be flipping burgers next year, but he's nobody's bitch. I'm glad to have a player like that on my team.

Thats all well and good except Vilma's his coworker, not his boss, and even if your coworker was in your grill belittling you, if you punched him, your ass would be on the unemployment line.

Sure he stood up for himself. In the wrong way.

DROY.

And like it or not, at work or on the playground or in the street, there's a pecking order.

The star gets preferential treatment. You know that.

And in this case, he got a preferential slap in the mouth for thinking he ran the show, everyone know's Herm runs the show.

I'm not saying he shouldn't be fired--any teammate that decks another during a game for the world to see deserves to be dealt some form of disciplinary action. I just like his fire. If Pouha had Reed's temper, we'd be in damn good shape right now.

Good to see you were on the sideline and heard exactly what Vilma said or didn't say

It could have been as simple as "hey, please try and keep those guards off me" which is completely within his rights.

Who knows if Reed was blowing assignments. As the MLB, whether you deny him that role or not, is it not his job to recognize the offense, call defensive plays, and thus, let Reed know what he's doing wrong?
