Maxman
I have been Herm's # 1 supporter. Battled for him day and night for the past few years. I am not giving up on him. I am not giving up on the Jets. BUT I am concerned. At this point the things he doesn't do well outnumber what he is good at. The tradeoff is not working for him. His team has stumbled to start the season. Losing to the Jaguars at home will HAUNT them all year. Even if they turn it around this is a game you can't lose if you have any sort of expectations. Herm's thing has been that his teams play smart, inspired ball and they never hurt themselves. THIS HAS NOT been the case this season. Has Herm's act grown old? Too early to say but it is a possibility. Herm is officially on the clock. If he doesn't get it done this year it is time to move on.

TaborJet
It looked like Hackett is still calling plays from the booth. But there is nowhere to hide, Herm. The offense was out of sync yet again. The defense kept them in the game. To give up 26 points is a lot, but consider the D was on the field all afternoon. I think Donnie Henderson would make a great HC of the NYJ if Herm doesn't get it done.

RSJ
Yeah this is it for Herm. There are still enough Jet fans that remember when we went 6-2 with Ray Lucas and realize that injuries are no excuse. Herm is a fool.
faba
Herm feel good talks and phrases have worn out with me The continued incompetency in managing the game clock and the actual managing the game is really too much to take as a die hard fan

Simply stating that he MUST get is done this year. Otherwise it is time to move on. I still have hope though.

Maxie a But Monkey?? Relax Max...Here's what Woody should do..Hire a Real HC and make Hermie BBQ Man and asst HC like he was at Tampa! Then fire the HC once the Team is turned around and make Hermie HC again! And then you'll have another 4 yr's of saying Wow Herms the Best!! Barton
guys, please enlighten me as to what herm did wrong today. please be specific. This game isnt totally on Herm. Did Herm drop the ball in the endzone or was that Chrebet? Who dropped the punt, was it herm or miller? Who didnt give Barrett deep safety help in overtime, was it Henderson or Herm? That being said, Herm needs to go if we dont make the playoffs. Time to turn over a new page.
Preston Howley III
guys, please enlighten me as to what herm did wrong today. please be specific. OK, after the turnover in the 4th quarter, Jets are 1st and goal- Herm calls two running plays (he wants to run time off the clock) and then calls a pass in the EZ (Chrebet was stripped), and then kicks a FG HE PLAYED FOR THE TIE, JUST LIKE HE DID AGAINST THE STEELERS IN THE PLAYOFFS LAST YEAR. His first priority was running time off the clock when his first priority should be lets score 6 as quick as we can. The pass to Chrebet should have been 1st and goal, not on 3rd and goal. But Herm wanted to run two running plays to run time off the clock. F the clock!!!

Ahh, you fellas know how to dance, don't you?

Preston Howley III
CHREBET SHOULD HAVE HELD ON TO THE DAAMN! BALL!! Just think, if they called the play on 1st and goal, they'd have 2 more chances.

And if Martin didn't fumble in the first Game of 99 Vinny doesn't blow his Achilles tendon going for the Fumble!! And Depending on your Daddy's xx or xy gene's you might have been Erica Baron 50!! Preston Howley III
Guys, did I ever tell you about the time I visited terminally ill kids at the hospital? It was Easter, and I gave them jelly beans. Aint I wonderful? Oh, but theres more! My 7th grade glee club sang Xmas Carols at an old folks home! Karen Crouse is going to do a full spread on it, in tommorows new york times. Ever since I got run outta JI, my PR has been on the skids, and this is really going to put me back in the good graces of all the people in the world who count! THERE'S MORE TO LIFE THAN FOOTBALL, YOU KNOW!
