So, with the obvious 24 hours away from being announced, do we get held up and fork out draft picks for QB's? Or, do we sign Vinny and go with Vinny and Brooks and take the hit for the year? I say take the hit. Our schedule is brutal and other teams will rape us for a QB. Plus, those picks probably will end being very good choices(high in each round) with our record likely being 4-12, or 5-11. What's another losing year to a Jets fan anyway? But a top pick for Rivers seems premature; that trade may be available in January anyway. And if the Jets are NFL-worst at the end , Leinart is gonna be there. #90 Posted September 26, 2005 Author Share Posted September 26, 2005 I am NOT a Vinny fan. It would pain me beyond belief if he does get signed. I have had all I can take of Da Da Dumb Dumb. I'm just saying please don't fork over draft picks. This season has gone up in smoke. Like I said before, every one of our draft picks next year is going to be worth it's weight in gold.
