Barton
This is scary. All I hope is this doesnt set back the franchise for another 5 years. Its time to start over with a new young quarterback. I'll Miss Ya Chad
Jimmy 2 Times
We have to tank the season. Sit Martin, Chrebet, and Sowell. Let's play Blaylock, Houston, Cotch, and Askew. Let's shoot for the number 1 pick while developing our younger players. Let's convert that number 1 pick into two number one's(one in 07), a two, and 3. We have to play out this season before dropping our number 1 on a young QB like Rivers. He could probably be had for less than our very high pick. 124
We need to cut down the load on Curtis (as much as I hate to say it) We need to give the ball to Cedric Houston at least 5-10 times a game. Chrebet needs to be the #4 and Cotch the #3. And we need to pray that Bollywood can do something.

I here ya on playing the young guys more like Houston. But it will not happen. The bottom line is Herm needs to play the starters because his ass very well could be on the hot seat. And we are just 1-2. Herm will never fold up the tent and pack it in. And I wouldnt want to see that.

Bugg
The bottom line is Herm needs to play the starters because his a$$ very well could be on the hot seat. This is really the dilemma. A coach with one foot on a banana peel and another in the ditch getting dirt shoveled onto it isn't going to be inclined to go with young unproven players. This is where Bradway and Edwrds figure to be locking horns from now until the end of the season. And the issue turns on who, if either, Johnson believes best serves the long-term interests of this franchise. Which is why the Donnie Henderson is going to be a major player in the future of this team. His unit is rock solid; he's done a great job. If he sides with Bradway, Hermie's going out involuntarily shortly. Then it's a matter of time until they ditch Herm and make the obvious move from the BS artist to the guy who knows what he's doing. Lady Jet
He will. He may have to. But it may work, now that opposing defenses aren't facing an injured QB.
DireJet38
If Herman Edwards gives Curtis Martin the ball 300+ times this yr.. He should be shot. Maybe more, they will go away from the "vertical" hahahahaha attack and run more dink and dunk run plays than ever before. How can we expect anything else? Martin is going to get the ball till his legs turn into saw dust. FACT. The savior of this season in my mind is Chris Baker. If this guy can put up numbers and possibly find a yac connection with bolinger in the time being some key losses could turn into wins. Defense has to put this team on their back, time to use nugent to his maximum ability. We are talking perfection from 55 and in. Reality? NO.....dreams of saving the season...yes...I'm going to keep the faith till mathematically eliminated.

Herm needs to spread the ball around to all 3 RB's because the RB workload just doubled. Plus D's will key on the run and stack the box all day. If we want Curtis Martin to have any value to this team whatsoever next season we can't run him into the ground this yr. The rookie and Blaylock need to take a chuck of the carriers. No need to make Curtis Martin carry the ball 300+ times.
