PatsFanTX
And here is how: They need to score two quick TD's early in the game. Through the rest of the game, they should be able to pick up at least two more FG's. That's 20 points and the Jets D should be able to hold the pathetic Ravens offense to less then that. The key to scoring two quick TD's will be the element of surprise. The offense needs to take some chances downfield early in the game. If Hermy comes out with a conservative offense (I wanted to minimize the risks for Bollinger ), he should be fired on the spot. The Jets have nothing to lose. Take some risks early on and try and take control of the football game. But then again, what do I know.
Mean Papi Green
wont happen that way, Herm will play it close to the vest and not take chances leaving the game on his defense's shoulders, guaranteed

faba
It has to be remembered the Ravens do not have a great offense and they are playing their backup Anthony Wright at QB- this can be a ugly game that the Jets can win. One positive with Bollinger is he gives you some mobility at QB
Mean Papi Green
i like our chances this week, the team will rally hard around Brooks and Herm will have them fired up, Balt has a weak offense and their D is probably not as good as ours, I just think it will likely be another grind it out hard hitting low scoring snoozefest

I say bring it. We are not out of it till the games over and mathematically eliminated from making the playoffs. Come on people, Monday was for crying, Tuesday is for the RALLY! GimmeShelter
Beating the Ravens is no great upset on our part. TX knows that but his fire Herm if we are conservative on offense in Bollingers first start is a little much. I recall Brady being restricted to screens and dump offs for much of 2001 after he took over.

PatsFanTX
I recall Brady being restricted to screens and dump offs for much of 2001 after he took over. I guess you missed his 3rd start that season against the Chargers where he led a great comeback to get a 29-26 victory. He threw the ball all over the field that day.

Again we are talking start one for Bollinger against the Raven defense as oppossed to Brady's 3rd start against that vaunted 2001 SD defense. MrPatDynasty
Baltimore is 0-2 and had the week off so this game is not going to be that close. Baltimore has the better Defense Baltimore has the better back up Baltimore is going to take out the frustrations of the first 2 weeks loses on the Jets. This is going to be an ass whoopin ... stormshadow19
Though, Baltimore doesn't have an offense. Well, they've got a line, receivers, and a tight end. Oh and Chester Taylor (Jammal Lewis blows). The Jets have receivers and tight ends... that's it. Baltimore should win in a cake walk. I predict 45 carries for Martin. My point is, when he needed to air it out, he did. He was not handled with kid gloves that year.

You Damn right - This is no time to play dink and dunk ball control. We still have one guy who can throw the ball and it's about time we get a look at the "new offense". For reasons I'm sure will be disclosed in piecemeal coverup fashion - we haven't had anything more than a taste of it so far - and it was a bad taste. Let'er rip Brooks. How exactly is this going to be an asswhooping? Much like the Jets, Baltimore can't put up points on offense for sh*t. I'm not saying the Jets will win, because I don't think they will, but this will be far from a blowout given the Jets 1 remaining strength is the defense, and coincidentally, the Ravens have absolutely nothing on O. Nice try, thanks for playing. We will be lucky to see a 10-7 score, if that at all.

Next someone will post if Chad learns to throw lefthanded he'll be better then Brady!! That wasn't a rag on Brady. I simply argued the point that TX felt Bollinger shouldn't be brought along slowly as Brady was in 2001. You always say "only Jets fans". What's that all about? This just in sport, you are a alleged Jet fan as well. Having a doomed attitude about every player or coach etc doesn't change that. You're one of those fans who feels by predicting failure at every turn separates you from the rest of us and some how makes you come off as a genius. ANYBODY can do that. Green DNA
I agree. If we're going down, lets go down swinging. We need to come out on the attack and put them back on their heels. If not, we will be playing right into the Ravens hands.
