LionelRichie
we all saw chad playing this year and were embarassed for him and the team. his passes were high school caliber and he looked scared in the pocket. there is no way that bollywood can be any worse than the qb we had. this wasn't the chad of 2002, this was a shell of his former self. bollywood is an improvement over what we had for the first 3 games this year - this team still has a chance. bman
Just give the Vinny the damn ball in two weeks..trust me..give him time and he can make Coles, JMAC, Baker look like NFL wr's...Chad could not.

Vinny may need until the bye week to pick up the system. But when he does, this is made for him, vertical passing game, shotgun.
Bob
I saw Bolly in training camp. He's not an upgrade.

And I am a big Pennington fan but Fo Block is correct.
LionelRichie
I saw Bolly in training camp. He's not an upgrade. after the first 3 games of chad's ineptitude browning nagle would be an upgrade. that was the WORST QB play this team has had since tupa played after vinny went down. Jet Black
Believe it or not I can see how he can be that much worse than Chad has been, which just goes to show how poor Chad's performance has been this year. That said, I think Bollinger will do a good job for us. I am more concerned about the running game because if we can't run the ball it will put that much more pressure on Brooks. Greensince69
Unless the ol gets a little better you could put elway and jim brown back there and we will still suck.

The OC Jet
I saw Bolly in training camp. He's not an upgrade. I would agree with that, however he did do well in the Arizona game last year when he came in for Quincy, 6 for 9 for 65 yds, I was actually impressed. LionelRichie
Aaaaaaaaand.....who is going to protect Vinny the Statue while he parks his 41yr old a$$ in the pocket? yet another reason to have hope in bollywood. at least he offers some mobility that the jets have not had with chad back there. chad was every bit the statue that vinny is. Who was named #2 ahead of him? Come on, think back, it isn't hard. VT has another year on an old body, no TC, new offense, no mobility and defenses who don't respect the Jetz running game. You and all who call Vinny's name are asleep, a laugh or a long way from reality. I feel like I'm on a date with my ex-wife reading this junk. She was pretty but I knew what was gonna get and so do you.
sirlancemehlot
It's all about the O-line, now. In fact, it was all about the o-line 2 months ago. We lost McKenzie and Becht and with them, much of our running game. We started a lightweight converted TE at tackle, and never upgraded a faltering Fabini. Anyone could've seen this debacle coming. We all knew the line would be our achilles heel this year. We knew it since McKenzie packed his bags for Giants-land. So what did we do about it? We concentrated our efforts on signing TY Law. And we got him! Hooray! Now Ray Mickens can't ruin our season by giving up first downs! Of course we signed a washed-up Scott Gragg to back-up our washed-up Jason Fabini, then let our damaged quarterback set up in a constantly crumbling pocket without a viable running game to keep defenses honest. Result: one QB with his career finished, and another who'll need a bionic arm when he returns next season. Now we've signed Testaverde. God help him.
