Smizzy
Herm is fired this afternoon and the Jets hire you to be the HC and your word weighs heavy with Bradway. What do you do starting today to turn this team around. Who do you cut? Trade? Sit? Start? Let here it.
joewilly
I give donnie & dinger free reigns to gameplan & call whatever they wish & bench/play whoever they want for 2 reasons. 1 I have no business running this team 2 I can see for myself if herm screwed up the offense or dinger isn't suited for this franchise
bman
I play Vinny and mainly play 3/4/5 wr sets..call lots of screens..run Martin out of 4 wr sets... I sign Jon Abe.. I trade a 2006 4th and 5th and a 2007 1st rd pick for Drew Brees. I then draft the best avaiable rb in the first rd of 2006..the rest of the draft and free agency goes to landing ol, dt, wr, lb,.. Scott Dierking
Your hands are tied to trades, cuts, signings etc, because teh cap will not allow you to do that. What you have right now, is what you are going to have this year. If you wanted to make me OWNER of the Jets, I would let coaches and FO personnel ride this out this year. No future contracts get signed without my direct input and supervision. I begin to make overtures, discretely to find what GMs are willing to work with me. I target Tom Heckert and find out his interest is. If the wheels fall off, as they apper likely, I fire Bradway the day after the season. I negotiate a contract with Heckert and let him name coaches. He will also have direct input on asst's. Matter one for Heckert-You make a decision on John Abe-One way or the other-Your cap will not allow another franchise. Matter two-Start talking with Penny's agent and what is an amicable separation, if that is what it is looking liek at that time. Matter three- Scout Scout Scout
Barton
I tell Bradway he has to restructure the contracts of Chad, Martin and Drob in the offseason. Cut pete kendall in the offseason. Start Cedric Houston, and sit Curtis Martin. Demote Dick Curl to Warm Bench.

Barton
When will people learn-Restructured contracts are bad business. NOOOOOOOOOO! Drobs contract is RIDICULOUS. The man is not worth the price he is getting paid. I think he is a good player, but for a 4th overal pick and the money he is making, he has not played up to the standards yet. I hear that cutting Chad in the offseason would actually save us money than if we kept him. Therefore he might have to get his contract redone completely, because if we cut him loose, nobody will pick him up and he knows that. Pete Kendall and Jason Fabini will definetly be cut in the offseason (well, Fabini for sure). Kendall signed a deal last offseason, and I remember the numbers, and he is getting alot of money towards the cap this year and the remaining years on his contract. Couple that with his poor run blocking and his 280lb body, he should be cut. Fabini just sucks, I wont get into that guy. Curtis Martin is another guy who should be cut in the offseason. McCareins is really overpaid.
stormshadow19
I'd tell him to let Dinger and Donnie run the show. I'd promote Dinger to HC, but it'd be more of an even ship between the two. And, I'd tell Bradway to increase their pay. As far as the other stuff? Trades, signings, cuts, and all that? Offseason. Since I'm not on the team, or a member of the organization, I can go around and talk to players who need to restructure, and convince them to do so. It may be underhanded, but hey, that's business. Matt39
For an average DT who looks completely out of shape, Drob is overpaid.
124
#1 thing I'd do is to place Pennington on IR, I don't care how much he wants to come back after the Bye, **** him, he needs to rest and not practice once until June. #2 thing I'd do is to teach that O-Line how to block, or at least try too...Brookie would start this week and Vinny would come in if he struggles. #3 thing I'd do is to teach David Barrett how to cover a WR. #4 thing I'd do is to put Jerricho Cotchery as the #3 WR, bench Blaylock and put Houston as the #2 and give him 10 carries a game with about 15 for Martin. #5 thing I'd do is to make sure that Brooksie gets a chance to throw the ball down the field. #6 thing I'd do is take Dinger out to the shed and kick his ass until he throws the ball, IDC if Kingsburry comes in at QB

That is exactly what Woody should do at the end of the season. But there is no way in hell Woody has the balls to pull the trigger. Mark my words, he'll try some bandaid approach.
