Why does every Jet fan want every decent player out there?.. explain this to me! Like there aren't 31 other teams in the NFL.

Yes, but the Browns under Eric Mangini are one team that like to deal favorably with the Jets. SEE: Trade for # 5 pick, Braylon Edwards deal.

He's a kick returner with 3 years remaining on his contract. Why would you pay this guy? I feel for him but he's going to have to pull a TO and he still won't get what he's looking for. He's not good enough at RB or WR to be a consistent contributor. On returns, he can be avoided just like every other returner by kicking away from him or kicking for coverage. In addition he's mostly useful when you have a ****ty defense and let the other team score on you a lot.

The Browns will barely use him at RB since Jerome Harrison and James Davis are far better RBs. He's a terrible WR but they have no QB anyway so that makes even less difference.

What are the Jets going to do with him? Brad Smith and Leon Washington are already on the team and can do pretty much everything he can. He might get 1 or 2 more kickoff TDs a year for you, but is that worth paying him the $3-4M a year he's looking for?
