124
This game is huge. A win with a Miami loss and a New England loss has us at 3-3 and tied for 1st place after the first 6 weeks of the season. A loss and we fall to 2-4 and 1-1 in the division and hopes are back down to Matt Leinart and Reggie Bush around here. But, what do I expect? I expect the Jets to go in there and win yet another defensive battle.
Bugg
If the Jets can run the ball effectively enough to give the Bills defense something to think about rather than collapse and cheat up, it's a very winnable game. The Bills offense is nothing special and the Jets defense is playing very well. Questions : Will Edwards open it up enough to take advantage of Testaverde's big arm? His 1 INT was far enough upfield to be like a punt, and that's how he's always been when he's going good. inpoint short stuff isn't his game at all. And will he see if Houston can run better than calcified, slow and putrid Martin?
Matt39
Stop Mcgahee. No big plays fom lee Evans. Herm: PLEASE LET VINNY THROW THE BALL. The Jets are a better team then the Bills. If MArtin can't run against this team he should be benched. Hopefully Houston will get a shot as well. The team needs it.
GimmeShelter
Buffalo's defense has not been anything special. Miami actually out-gained them by almost a 100 yds but kept turning the ball over all day. We need to rattle Holcomb as we did Griese and most of all, open up the offense. Winnable game although in a tough environment.

Steelbirds
ready to lose? What's interesting is that no one has mentioned Bufalo's 19-3 loss to the Bucs. Why only 3 points against a defense comparable to the Jets (statistically speaking). The game will be close. Perhaps the edge goes to the team who executes on special teams and wins the turnover battle. Jets - 14 Bills -
Dr.Lecter
Hello gentlemen. I am visiting from BillsFanCentral. Nice site here. Despite winning, the Bills did not play real well. The Fins turned the ball over 5 times and committed 18 penalties. The Bills have a solid pass defense. They have one of the best secondary's in the NFL. The pass rush is up and down. They can be beat with the run, with Spikes and Ron Edwards out. They still have one of the ST units in the NFL. Terrence McGee is one of the top 2 or 3 KO return men in the NFL. Being at Buffalo, this should be a tight game. Vinnie will have to beat the blitz. He has the brains, but clearly is not mobile. Holcomb will not do anything great, but will also not make stupid mistakes. Stopping McGahee is a must for the Jets. I'll say 17-16 Bills.

faba
All things point to another close defensive battle- Buffalo has the edge with Mcgaghee over Martin at this point -the Jets have to stop him from having a big game -like last year in Buffalo
WillisXpress
You will see a very different offense from the Miami game.... holcomb only had a week of practice with the first teamers... another week will improve his timing, which ws pretty good anyway.... Also, holcomb played well in the first half, going 14-20 for like 120 yards.... and he only threw 6 more passes the entire game( completed them all, 6/6) we completly abandoned the passing game in the second half in an attempt to contro the clock, and if it hadn't been for a freak fumble(miscue, not forced by Miami) on a bad handoff the Dolphins would have never been as close as they were..... Expect a big game from Willis this Sunday, you guys are giving up 40 more YPG on the ground than Miami...if Willis runs 30 times like he did last week it could be a long day for you..... You best bet is to get up early, force the passing game, and blitz Holcomb...although he showed that he could beat the blitz on occasion last week.... Jets st has to step it up this week & if so advantage jets with an awesome defense. I'm sorry to see holcomb in & jp out but he'll have his work cut out for himself moving the football with no turnovers

Oh and BTW, we beat Miami remember? now that our offense will be on the field a little longer, the defense won't have to defend 70 plays a game anymore...the longer on the field, the longer the drives, the more tired they get and the more yards accumulated.. in short, you guys are going down hard.... WillisXpress
Yeah, if we didn't force 5 turnovers it'd be a different game, but we did cause thats what we do.... And how about the fumble that let them back into the game, everyone forgets that... it goes both ways... You're coming into our house, we're fired up... BwanaZulia
If you thought last week was huge, this is a monster. This really gives us a chance go make something of this season in the AFC East. I don't think that either Bills QB will be able to get much production, but I do think they will get a TD and they will get closer to some field goals, so I give them 13. The Jets D needs to score this week. I know they keep dropping off the offense at the goal line, but this week they run it in, so that is 7 right there. Miller is going to break one and this is his week. He gets both returns and breaks one for the end zone. Another 7. Vinny throws a TD to Jolley and plays well. Nuuuuge goes 1/2. I'd like to see how the two stack up there. All I heard last week re:special teams was how the Fins Welker was going to blow us up and take one to the house. I'm not sure if he even ended up with positive yardage. We're pretty good on coverage, also.
