Smizzy Posted October 12, 2005 Share Posted October 12, 2005 Robertson Named AFC Defensive Player of the Week The National Football League announced Wednesday that New York defensive tackle Dewayne Robertson has been named AFC Defensive Player of the Week for his dominating performance against Tampa Bay. With nine tackles, including a career-high 2.0 sacks from his interior lineman position, Robertson refused to be blocked in helping New York hand the Bucs their first defeat of the season.
