EDIT: This contest is over, congratulations to Proverbs. You won.

Our friends at http://anydate.com have provided us with, "The Greatest Moments In New York Jets History" and we are going to give it to a JetNation.com member.

What is it?

A reprint of the actual NY Times articles from the NY Jets greatest moments. It starts back in the Titans days and covers each decade, over 63 pages in total. You get the actual page as it appeared in the Times with all the other news that appeared on that page.

The best part?

It is only the positive news. We have had enough heart breaking moments over the years. None of those are included. :)

What do you have to do to enter?

1. Only Jets fans are eligible to win.

2. Just post in this thread. Everyone that posts in this thread will be entered. If you are reading this and don't have an account here, registration only takes a minute and is free. (You can also post with an existing twitter or facebook account if you prefer, click on the registration link for more information).

We will pick a winner on Thursday October 21, 2010 and announce it here.

Can I just enter to win the part that only covers "The Gholston Era"?

I am sorry Tom. By posting in this thread you have been entered to win the whole thing. What you do with it if you win is your call. You can choose to read only the Gholston content if that is your desire.

No! I wish to disqualify myself. I'm holding out for "The Horrible Moments In Jets History: The Other 41 Years." I hear it includes a pop-up photo of Brett Favre's penis.

Sorry. You already posted. There is no entering. Right now you are the only entry. Your odds of winning are pretty good.

I wonder if this game will be in there?

Down 15-9 with just over 2 minutes to go and two time outs and the two minute warning. Todd drove the jets down the field for the winning TD.

The Jets finished at 10-5-1 after starting the season 0-3 beginning with a 31-0 loss in Buffalo.

It was the first time in about 11 years that they made the playoffs a heartbreaking 31-27 loss to Buffalo on a int in the endzone with seconds left in the game.
