Where is Bitonti?

Hey bit, Tom Nalen handled DFat all day long one-on-one. He was blown off the LOS all day long.

Will you still use your "DFat is always doubled-teamed" excuse today?

What a waste of a friggn' two 1st's and a 4th pick.

Dude he was never double teamed. This was just more NY Jets front office propaganda.

Uh, I actually saw Drob getting doubleteamed and when he wasnt he was completely collapsing the pocket.

You're reaching for a ledge that just isnt there, tx.

He was drafted by Terry Bradway, the same guy that picked Bryan Thomas over Ed Reed. The same guy that picked a fullback in the third round whenever Richie Anderson and Jerald Sowell were already on the roster. The same guy that traded a 1st round pick for a mediocre tight end and a weak-legged kicker.

Pick your poison. D-Rob isn't even the dumbest thing this moron has done.

EB, I watched this guy all friggin day. Just as I have done periodically throughout his career and I can count on one hand the amount of times he has been double teamed.

Thank you rsherry for at least watching the same game that I did.

DFat was 1-1 all day long with Nalen and got blown off the friggn' LOS all day long.

EB, you must have double vision if you think DSlob is doubled-teamed.

i wish the Jets went back and drafted Emmitt Smith and Dan Marino instead of Blair Thomas and Ken OBrien.

Do you think these picks were luck or the lack of judgement by a poorly run organization? Because I think it was more the later and no accident at all. Sure once in a while is one thing. But every time is another.

1) it's really easy to draft in hindsight

2) the draft is not just picking a player its a match between player and organization. If the Jets drafted Emmitt Smith maybe he wouldn't have been the same without Larry Allen et al. If the Jets drafted McGahee maybe he has 150 career carries at this point as Curtis' backup.

3) right now we are at and beyond rock bottom, it seems like the Jets could have 10 first round draft picks and it wouldn't save the franchise. Really it starts with the QB position. IF they can find a decent QB (or if CHad can come back) and the entire team stays healthy this is not as bad a team as they seem.

talking about this defense and the players on it, the Broncos had 43 minutes TOP today. 43 minutes!!! It's just a nightmare for any defense and any defensive player. Put Polumalu on this team and trust me the results are the same, maybe worse because if it wasn't DRob at DT who would it be?

I hear you homey. But D Rob was worse than bad today - he was an embarassment from the begining to the end. He looks this bad every week though. To simplify things he should have never been picked and not because of his talent but because it was a bad fit. TB and Herm have not been on the same page with personel since day one and the team is not good enough to overcome thier mistakes in judgement anymore. You are right though it is not Emmitt, Michael and Troy it was the o-line, and defense and all the rest that made that pick look good. And most important it was good coaching - and we all know where we stand with that.

The whole defensive line has been dissapointing. Aside from a few flashes, Abraham hasn't been as good as advertised. Ellis has been invisble the enitre season. The rotation of Reed, legree Pouha has failed. And then you ofcourse have had Robertson, where there seems to be a divide on the board. I just don't see it in the kid.

For our defensive line that has 4 first round picks seeing significant time playing like this is embarassing.

I know this will probably be way down our list, but we could alos use another LB with some more speed. Denver's LB'S were flying all over the place today it seemed.

Good thing Herm got rid of mean old John Lott. He was pushing those players way too hard. Besides the fact that Abe is playing out of position and has since Herm got here. Then the moron puts him in when the Jets are in a goal line situation. HE IS NOT A DE - HE IS A PASS RUSHING OLB. We do not play in the RCA dome where you could have a guy like freeney survive 100% on speed. Look at what happens to Freeney when he plays on grass. He disappears.
