  1. I was 3 in 1964 but still remember them doing that. The only bigger day was in 1973 or 1974 (6th grade) when someone from NASA brought in the space shuttle model.
  2. Well, if it makes you feel better - i do not consider it a real World-Series unless both the Dodgers and Yankees are in it. 77 and 78 were very challenging for me between Reggie and Nettles single-handedly beating my boys. 81 was much better. Not as good as 63 but...
  3. Trivia question since you're a Dodger fan: Who was cut to make room for Sandy Koufax on the team? Answer: Tommy LaSorda - also a left-handed pitcher.
  4. Being a Dodger fan balances out being a Jets fan fan. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  5. Poor reference. The Boys of Summer is about the Brooklyn Dodgers pursuit of a championship in 1955 Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  6. I agree with trade down, obtain at least a 2nd, then take OL, like Guyton. I think the Jets go D with the second pick. Several DL run stuffers available. There will be a couple great choices for WRs in round 3 or 4. Like Legette or Pearsall. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  7. Funny, I was watching the days DNA was being televised. I followed the math. The DNA was also a potential match for 8,000 people in LA County alone. It is more formidable nowadays.
  8. Still quite amazed the man ran for 2003 yards one season on a s:/((y team. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  9. As a Dodger fan I find this utterly despicable. (Wink) Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app

  11. Legette and Pearsall are both better IMO. Plus, you do not to trade up for them. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  12. I did. Have the big thumb little keypad thing going on. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  13. I agree he has potential. I’m just not investing a first rounder on him when there are other OTs that will be taken after him that show more potential. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  14. Latham - has problems rotating and flipping hips which can translate into issues with LBs and DBs. He is not good in space. Alt - the only issue i see with him will be resolved in time. He needs strength work and improved footwork. Fautanu - besides being 24 years old. he is slow in recovering from focus on the inside to the outside. AN issue for an OT in my mind. IMO I like Guyton better than Latham - I see a lot of Alabama games. Would take Alt over all others and am concerned Fautanu even makes it to a second contract.
  15. iMO the Bills do not have the luxury of doubling down. They are in serious need of D help if they are to remain competitive. Their O will be fine with the addition of a decent WR. Which they will get. Underestimating competitors is a serious strategic flaw. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
