  1. Bit - what position do you ultimately see Fuaga playing? Can he make it as a left tackle at the NFL level?
  2. Thank you for the lecture. But to be a Jets fan for as long as I have, hoping and staying optimistic despite the results is how I cope.
  3. Exactly, and Jones' salary is roughly the same as half of Wilson's, so the only difference in the price paid is the marginal loss of draft capital way down in the draft. I'm surprised that JD was able to get that much for ZW as compared to Jones
  4. Given Denver's QB room right now, almost by default, Zach will get a chance. Of course, things can change after the draft.
  5. So Mac Jones and Justin Fields ended up generating roughly the same compensation as JD got for Zach considering the 50% salary dump.
  6. Bowers for sure, but other teams might have a clear preference for one of the OL, for example Latham who some teams seem to really like
  7. Tom, if the draft breaks the way the podcasters predict, Jets would have several options left at OL. Why wouldn't they trade down given the difference between the prospects after Alt serms marginal?
  8. Make up your mind. Do you want him here or not?
  9. Clark was a very good player for Baltimore and a terrific signing by JD. All comes down to his recovery from injury, but if he's back to 95% of what he was, the safety position will be in good shape. So I think if the Jets do end up drafting a safety before the last few developmental picks, it could be because they are concerned about Clark's recovery
  10. Interesting that you take Zach:s failure as a W. I take it as a major L for the organization.
  11. Similar to what was done with Bowers, Blewett did an extensive breakdown on Odunze. Main issue was his ability to beat press coverage and his so-so route running which limited the separation he could generate. Despite that red flag, I am all in on Odunze. Think he will contribute year one and only get better with more refinement on his route running
  12. I skipped directly to page 24 - can someone fill me in on what we're arguing about in this thread. Seems pretty cut and dried to me. He is either traded (preferably) for some salary relief or very minimal draft capital, or he is released and we eat the $5 million. What more is there to say?
  13. Agree that Rome Odunze would be a very safe pick at 10 to come in and contribute from day one. He caught a ton of contested throws in college which is both a good and bad sign. Good because he is an elite ball tracker with very strong hands, but bad because he doesn't get a ton of separation. However, Rodgers excels at throwing players open and doesn't need to see a lot of space to fit the ball in. If Rome's not available (and assuming MHJ and Nabers are gone already), I would seriously consider a trade back and go with one of the OL that remains
  14. Blewett at JetsX also like Latham the best of the OT options
  15. Not going to happen. He won't be on the team.....just a matter of time. As many have pointed out, cutting him now eliminates any chance of getting salary relief or even a conditional draft pick And if you think having him still on the team is a distraction, I don't see how. I seriously doubt any players are as obsessed with Zach as some on the board are
