  1. The thing that Bowers has going for him is he plays the security blanket position. Pass catching yac TE/HB can be a QBs best friend. I could easily see a team like the Colts trading up for Bowers. How do you best protect a young inexperienced franchise guy? Give hm a guy that you can throw 2 yards passes to who will get you first downs. That is my hot take draft day trade for he Jets. Jets trade down to 15 with Indy and get a 2nd rounder out of it. (Jets would probably have to kick in a small sweeter late round pick)
  2. Just the type of guy who comes to a team and is a choir boy. It is so tough to know if a guy will keep being a bad dude or grow up and at least stay mostly out of trouble. Guys like tyreek hill last till the 5th round due to this.
  3. 80% of all WRs are or will be diva assholes after a few years. If you are looking for a choir boy WR you will miss out.
  4. Jets are weak at S and do have to take one in the draft, he may have done this before we resigned A Davis. We should not take one in the 3rd round but it would not surprise me at all knowing Douglas. Malik Washington and Leary are good picks. Bowers may end up being our top choice depending how things fall.
  5. lots of lower tier rbs still out there it seems, vets at near vet minimum probably. Jets and Saleh are all about character so a guy like Latavius murray might be a possibility. Jerrick mackinnon can do a few things. Josh kelly is still fairly young No needle movers.
  6. We did not need a WR because we signed Lazard and Cobb to be our #2 and slot wrs We needed no oline becasue we signed billy turner to be our swing ot We needed no backup QB becasue we singed tim boyle He did his damage in free agency.
  7. 84-103 without Brady, even with Brady in later years his team building and gming was about the worst in the league. What a guy was at his best is totally irrelevant with what he will bring now. Much like the jets and their fans are always beaming with a HOF pro bowl QB in Rodges who is no longer a pro bowl mvp calibre player.
  8. He is easily good enough to be a #3 in this league, despite what we think of him here. He'll be 25 to start the year has had 30 games under his belt and has a good arm and some mobility. He obviously stinks at most other things thus his present situation but league experience means something if you are taking a flyer on a #3 guy.
  9. He is still a better long shot prospect than some lower end guys in this draft such as Hartman or Milton. His salary is what is keeping him off another team right now. If he gets cut or the jets eat salary some team will take him on.
  10. He will be traded for a late round pick swap at the draft by some team realizing the draft did not provide them with enough QB prospect depth or he will be cut before the season. Tiny tiny chance the jets keep him as a #4 stay away asset and wait until there are injuries next year but that is a very small chance.
  11. Green Bay basically totally reloaded their WRs room with about 6 from solid to outstanding young pass catchers in about two years becasue they tactfully drafted multi wrs. You can fix just about any position group if you acquire picks and make it a priority by double dipping or triple dipping. Christian Watson - 24 years old 2-334 Romeo Doubs - 24 years old 4-132 Bo Melton - 24 years old 7-229 Dontayvion Wicks - 22 years old 5-159 Jayden Reed - 23 years old 2-50 Malik Heath - 24 years old udfa
  12. Our current oc was totally surprised that Hall could catch a football. This is why we can't draft a great prospect in Brock Bowers. Half way though next year Hackett would be shocked he was not just a blocking TE.
  13. The Ravens thought so much of hi they traded him for a 7th round pick. He is a high character guy and a good tackler but coming off a bad injury and if you lose a half step in the secodnary you become a liability. We do not know if he is going to step in after a bad injury and a year older and be Ravens good. You canlt just assume.
  14. Latham is on my do not draft list so we will undoubtably take him just like darron lee and hackenburg were picked off that list.
