  1. Joe D and Daniel Jeremiah seem to have similar rankings most years. Jeremiah loves Odunze so maybe that translates to Jets also trying to get him if within reach (e.g. #8 swap with falcons also getting Zack Wilson memorabilia).
  2. Assuming no surprises and none of the big 3 wrs or Alt are there, I am kind of hoping for a trade down. Jacksonville at 17 could be a good candidate and may be willing to give up a second for 10 and maybe a 4th. Bowers at 17th with an extra pick in the second is much more palatable than TE at 10. And if he is gone before 17th then take an OL at that spot or WR.
  3. If the jets lost one more game and were picking 6th, we would be wondering what would have happened had they lost one more game and were picking top 3...
  4. I wonder if they release or trade JFM now, since he has a large cap number (16 mil I think).
  5. Any team that may even want to take a chance on him is just waiting for him to get cut. That way he can maybe be a #3 or on a PS with a minimum salary.
  6. Wasn't DJ Reed in the concussion protocol for a month? And CJ Stroud just came back after a 2-3 week absence.
  7. Excellent post. I think this is what they will do as well. And it could cost years to recover (eg. trading/extending for more of Rodgers friends like Davante and/or the Packers LT who is always hurt). The middle ground would be to ride it out with some long term thinking. Draft a QB to develop behind Rodgers for a year or so. Don't sign or trade for old players that will inhibit the jets ability to extend their own talent in the future.
  8. It is possible that Carter asked for his release after the jets informed him he was being demoted for Izzy as one of the personnel changes. The jets may have granted that wish to allow Carter to latch on to another team (and avoid a distraction).
  9. Did they elevate Malik Taylor from the PS for this game? That might be a clue on whether Lazard can go or not.
  10. Trystan Colon who is at AZ, but was with jets during training camp. Can play center and guard.
  11. At his salary, I would think he would be cut before traded. But likely he remains in the roster and perhaps takes a small paycut to stay.
  12. No chance for Becton at RT and Brown at LT?
  13. Yep! And AVT also fell out of first round be in this draft. 22. Tennessee Titans: Michael Carter II, DB, Duke Original pick: Caleb Farley, CB, Virginia Tech Carter is one of the biggest movers in my 2021 redraft. A fifth-round pick (No. 107) who many saw as being way too small to ever be effective as a full-time slot corner, Carter has proven his doubters incorrect. His 4.32 speed and football IQ have served him — and the Jets — well through two years. He can still get better, but Carter’s already a dependable slot corner in the NFL, and there aren’t many who can make that claim.
  14. Some site's ranking of the top schedule releases for this thread. They have jets at 5...
