The Jets will be 5-3 and as they’ve done the previous two years they will send an email that ticket prices are going up. They will fall apart and end the season 7-10 again.

I’m not planning to watch the game on Saturday night. I can afford the $6 but it’s the principle behind it. I don’t want to have to do the whole sign up and then cancel thing either. I stream some things for my kids but all my sports I watch on cable. It gets interesting because at times I’ll text friends watching a game and they are on a delay and find out the play before they see it when streaming.

Detroit, Tampa Bay and Cleveland. Hard to not root for Detroit or Cleveland. I also always liked Bowles and felt he was dealt a lousy hand with the arranged marriage with MacCagnan.

Let them play the Black Friday game on the road. Wasn’t it embarrassing enough that a bomb threat was called into the mall and lots couldn’t open on time? That’s not even including the whooping they took. I rarely miss home games but missed Black Friday. Looks like I’ll be missing at least one game a year from now on.

Others may not agree with me (it’s ok in life to disagree) but that question from Cimini was pointless. I want to know what went wrong, why did the team appear to be unprepared, why did Becton look like a turnstile, etc. If Saleh had a fit of rage during the press conference they’d probably say he is unprofessional. By no means am I standing up for Saleh but I’ve learned in life that everyone has a different way of displaying anger.

Realistically if the Chargers Titans and Bears can win the Jets can jump to pick 6th. This weekend the Chargers play the Broncos, Bears play the Falcons and Titans play the Texans.

Uzomah should be the first to be cut. Ruckert, Yeboah and Kuntz are all better and cheaper. I would look to restructure Mosley. He provides great veteran leadership and is still good but not sure he is worth the cap hit next season. Tomlinson should be cut. Only way I would re-sign Becton is for a one year cheap contract. Assuming the Jets end up with a top 10 pick I would trade back and accumulate additional picks. Use them to build OL and OL depth.

The Jets cannot develop players. By no means am I saying that Zach Wilson is a great QB but look at all the guys drafted at the position and how they have all wound up. Part of it comes down to the inability to develop players.

Woody is a big part of the issue. He wanted Rodgers just like he wanted Favre. He was loving a sold out stadium week 1 filled with celebrities while he wore his Woody chain. Douglas big ego also hurt us. He should have kept Darnold and traded the second pick in the draft. Look at how much San Francisco gave up to move up to pick third. Add all those picks to what we had in the 2022 draft. The Jets will probably fire the OL coach and trade what will most likely be a top 10 draft pick for Devante Adams.

Jamal running his mouth the past two days shows what a good move it was to unload him. I may not always be thrilled with the Jets media but I’d never expect someone to throw their families, spouses, significant others, etc into it. Just shows how low class Jamal is. Also with us hosting the Seahawks next season I’m betting that it will be a prime time game.

I’ve been a season ticket holder since 1991 when I was 11. Since I graduated high school in 1998 I had missed 5 home games before today. Today was the 6th. We host Thanksgiving every year and usually have 20-30 people. I was never happy about this game and decided to sell. I woke up around 10:15 am to a text message from the Jets that the situation at the American Dream Mall was resolved and the lots would open at 10 am. My father came over to watch the game and told me during the traffic report on 880 am they were saying who had the idea to schedule a football game next to the American Dream Mallon Black Friday. I saw photos with the lots loaded with Dolphins fans. There appeared to be 60% Dolphins fans watching on TV. To add to it the Jets had probably their worst game of the season and a top 5 franchise history embarrassing play with the Hail Mary INT pick 6. Probably the most embarrassing was the butt fumble on Thanksgiving Night. Let’s hope the NFL is smart enough to never give the Jets a Thanksgiving Night and/or Black Friday home game ever again.

I’ll take anyone at this point. Things on offense are so bad that my son thinks the Jets get 3 points whenever they score since they rarely get a TD.

If the Jets win their next two in a row then yes I could see this happen. Otherwise it’s highly doubtful. The Packers still have a huge following.
