  1. Rodgers might have been out of the league had the Jets not made the trade for him. Not a single team other than the Jets even made a trade offer. We’d have all laughed if the Pats had made the trade that the Jets did.
  2. Right when I was about to be impressed with something Woody says, he gives us this gem: “The Jets have been criticized for giving Rodgers too much power within the organization, but Johnson said he values the input. "He has strong opinions on the way the team is built and we are digesting exactly how to interpret that," he said. "You need an interpreter a little bit there, but I couldn't be more impressed."”
  3. Looked like we were on track to do something following the 2022 draft. Then Douglas and Saleh did exactly what they said they wouldn’t, which is take a short cut, and made the trade for Rodgers. Had that not happened, we’d be in position to draft Caleb, Maye or Daniels in April. Such a bummer.
  4. Don’t forgot about Calvin Pryor. Rex was so giddy about him that he came up with the “Louisville Slugger” nickname. Yikes.
  5. These takes are comical. Great offensive minds like Sean McVay and Andy Reid are dying to get their hands on this moldable piece of clay that is Zach Wilson.
  6. Douglas significantly delayed improving the offensive line by caving to Green Bay and agreeing to swap picks and missing out on Jones. He then compounded the problem by selecting a situational pass rusher. One who may never be as good as Huff, who will now be allowed to walk, for nothing in return. His incompetence is astounding.
  7. Russini reported a statement made by an anonymous player, next day Rodgers makes a public statement that the leaks must stop, several days later the starting QB is outright cut, not even demoted. How did anyone get caught lying?
  8. Zach’s a big fish in a small pond in Utah. Putting his on the field ability/inability aside, it’s just mind-boggling that the Jets believed that he’d be a good fit for NY. What were they thinking??
  9. What a stupid team with a collection of stupid people operating it. I’m glad they lost the money.
  10. Almost everything in the article seems likely to be true to me. It would be more of a conspiracy theory to conclude that it is just completely made up. sh*t is bad throughout the Jets organization, inept at every level.
  11. I expected a sophomore slump from one of the top-4 guys from 2022, but they all played to the same standard as their rookie seasons, if not better. JJ actually played at a much higher level in year 2. Bittersweet to be in this position with these young talented players, and have to rebuild the offensive line almost completely, a 41 year old QB, and a horrendous OC. Sure would be nice to have an opportunity to stash Jayden Daniels on the bench while we see how this all-in plan works out.
  12. The formatting looks normal if you turn your phone sideways (landscape).
  13. I’d reconsider being a Jets fan if Belichick were the coach. I’d rather have Kotite.
