I go to the movies all the time, so here are some quick comments on movies out now: Whiplash - best movie I've seen in the past couple of years. Extremely intense. JK Simmons will be an Oscar winner. Blackhat - Huge Michael Mann film, but this wasn't very good. Worst directing he has done in years. The script was bad. Selma - better than I expected. Not sure how accurate it was, but i enjoyed it. The Hobbit - um, more of the same I guess Unbroken - Not bad, but intentionally pulls heart strings The Imitation Game - pretty good, but not great The Hunger Games - utter crap Inherent Vice - What ever happened to PTA? Some funny parts, but mostly a mess Wild - Not great, but good enough and thought provoking The Gambler - Expected worse, but entertaining enough for a couple of hours Interstellar - I enjoyed it, but not among the best movies The Theory of Everything - This was pretty enjoyable, but I didn't like it as much other people.Good acting Birdman - Really good with some incredible acting and some wtf moments. Foxcatcher - Carell was pretty creepy as DuPont. Good movie, but not great. The Interview - what could anyone really expect? Gone girl - Another creepy bitch. It was good, but far from great. Nightcrawler - creepy and entertaining. Seems to be this year's theme in movies St Vincent - I love Bill Murray. M. McCarthy wasn't her usual fat obnoxious self. Good, but far from great. The Equalizer - Better than expected. Denzel delivers. Solid movie Guardians of the Galaxy - loved it. Lots of fun John Wick - also better than expected even with KR's wooden acting

Hi. You can call me Al. I'm a message board refugee seeking asylum. My Jets forum got overtaken by morons and egomaniacs. Then JI got sold off to Scout and it was even worse than the morons and egomaniacs on my previous board. On a personal note: Jets fan for 44 years and somehow I never developed an ulcer or drinking problem although I came close after the Denver game and missed fg in Pittsburgh. My wife left me for a Pats fan, which didn't really bother me because I found a hottie Texans fan that likes to wear heels and latex, but I digress. However, the wife took my dog without my permission and a few days later I saw a pic of him on Facebook wearing a stupid Pats jersey. The next day I went into his backyard and stole my dog back. All things are good now (including lots of sex with the aforementioned hottie) except for this lousy team. Getting rid of Rex and Idzik was a good start. Thank you for having me.
