  1. whats the criteria here. Im seeing a team like the rams have access to 6 different countries (which seems to me would be an advantage in creating revenue for the team considering youre expanding the fan base) Where as the jets only have 2. Is there some type of criteria in order to gain access to different countries?
  2. i think its more telling we have 0 people there for fashanu yet we've been extensively talking to guys like Jordan Morgan and Patrick Paul..
  3. for a second i thought saleh was douglas and i was like dayummmmmmm home boy lost weight!
  4. I think they would be happy trading down and then looking into either Nix or Penix later on honestly. Pats have a lot of holes to fill offensively and moving down allows them to build bakc up the OL and add a QB later on.
  5. they are a bit. Offensive line was what I had believed they would do to fix the issue once and for all but it sounds like they feel good about their additions there. I have no idea how they play out, but my gut tells me nabers.
  6. Giants are interesting... all smoke points to them being obsessed with Maye and Mccarthy... BUT last year they threw a ton of smoke about not liking thibedaux at alllll and then it was the guy they wanted all along. Are they trying to get teams to trade ahead of them hoping MHJ or Nabers falls to them. I do it seems like Nabers will be a giant inevitably almost unless they really are that hungry for a QB and try to move up with the chargers.
  7. this opens some really interesting scenarios Who is willing to trade out now? Chargers we know. Who will offer more? Giants are DYING for a qb, so are the raiders. Vikings have the most ammo now. Do the pats and cards think about trading down now that there are 3 teams that will be vying to move up? Doesnt really help us, but i do think there will be teams looking to trade up for help if JD wants to move down. It in all honesty probably pushes a top OT or WR down to us at 10 if things break right. We'll have to wait and see, but this is going to be very interesting now.
  8. no doubt athletically he checks all the boxes. His game tape didnt excite me too much initially but ive seen some other cuts of him training and he shows way more route nuance and route ability than he got to show at texas.
  9. cant say i disagree a ton with any of this. I dont "Love" Mitchel from texas, but from what ive seen of him in things outside of his game film theres definitely more than meets the eye in terms of his ability to run routes. He has tools just needs to go to a good spot.
  10. I agree. I think it may honestly come down to Odunze or trade back when all is said and done.
  11. that is true. I also believe though that someone is trading up for the 4th qb. Too many teams need one. Vegas and minnesota have both checked in to see the price to move up. Denver would be a candidate but they have legitimately 0 draft capital, unless they use surtain as bait to move up. The chargers will be that swing spot in order to trade down I believe right now. Unless either the pats or the cardinals feel like they're in good shape and want to move out but I dont see it. I'm just playing the odds. Its rare 3 wrs go in the top 10. Last time was '21 with chase, waddle, and smith. the time before that was back in 2017 with corey davis, mike williams, and john ross (woof). Either way the jets at 10 are sitting pretty for a need. If you tell me 4 qbs and 3 wrs go in the top 10 then only 3 spots remaining. If 3 OT's went off the board somehow you'd still be left with bowers. The jets are getting to either Pick a WR, Bowers, or a top 3 OT at 10.
  12. to me the biggest threats are the cardinals who are definitely taking MHJ unless they trade out Giants next since they absolutely need one, then I believe the bears are the only other threat to take a wr. Conceivable but I do think unless someone trades up ahead of the giants for mccarthy, then thats where they go, and I am starting to believe the bears want to look defensively in that spot at 9.
  13. id be hard pressed to see a scenario where at least 1 of the WR's is not on the board by 10. MHJ is almost a lock to go top 5, but after that its really anyones guess. I think we will be looking at atleast 1 of them when sitting there at 10.
  14. I agree. But also I think that going into the draft with options is also best for the team. I think there is a world where we sign Smith/Bahktiari (hopefully both) and then say ok we can either take a WR at 10 and hope to find a good tackle prospect in rd 3, OR we can trade down, take a wr or tackle and then address whichever we did not at that spot in rd 2. I just like options. I dont want to feel the need to commit to one thing or another going into a draft that has depth at our positions of need.
  15. yeah I mean there are definitely concerns with his game. I think most of these guys have really worrisome traits. Hell JJ is gonna go top 7 prob and no one knows if he can even carry an offense lol Need drives everything at the QB position.
