The bottom line is that Zack earned his ticket out of town by being literally the worst starting QB in the league over the last 3 seasons and The Jets should make sure that they end this pathetic chapter for good by unceremoniously getting this bum off the roster by training camp by any means necessary. And yes, it IS possible to be angry at Zack for being a bum AND be angry at the very sh*tty Jets front office for picking him and burying this team in mediocrity and worse for the last 5 seasons.

The media DOES matter. It doesn't affect on field performance, but it subtly affects many other aspects of the team. The very negative perception of the team over the years in addition to poor play, a terrible front office, and terrible ownership has been perpetuated a thousand fold by the media and contributes to their inability to hire top tier coaches, front office people, and free agent players. Consistently winning solves this problem to some degree but not completely. Years of negative press (deserved and otherwise) flowing into the consciousness of the league is the kind of indoctrination that isn't easily swept aside or forgotten about. Is this a bit of hyperbole on my part? Yes, but Zack Wilson has me on the frayed ends of sanity over the last few years! F**k that guy already! Seriously though, if nothing else, Zack being on the roster, regardless of his role, can be a potential distraction to the team which is all that really matters. He has been a polarizing player for 3 seasons and had at least half of the team rooting for a 3rd string QB to start over him at one point. Why the hell would you want someone like that anywhere near the locker room of a team that should be laser focused on a deep playoff run this season?

Seen or unseen, the media will mention that clown every chance they get and create stories where there are none just to stick it to the Jets as the national media tends to do every chance they get. It's hard enough for the Jets to get any kind of respect and to be taken seriously nationally (and deservedly so), and as long as that clown is still milling about in Florham Park, he is a distraction. He was a massive mistake by the current Jets regime and it is beyond me why they would want such a polarizing player around for another season to remind everyone how incompetent they have been.

The optics of Wilson being on the roster for the 2024 season will be nauseating and just more gross incompetence by the Jets front office and the latest in a long line of things that indicate how terrible they've been at running this team. JD and Woody need to take the full L and get him out of here no matter what it takes. He is the poster boy for everything that has been wrong with this team under Woody Johnson and his mere presence in the locker room is a net negative. He has 1000% worn out his welcome here. This team will supposedly be competing for a division title and a long playoff run and whiny little bitch Zack with all his entitlement and smugness shouldn't be anywhere near the Jets locker room to become a distraction. F**k this guy already!

Not a big fan of the black uniforms, and yes, I'm older than 30. lol. I think it would be way better if they used the color and outline of the Jets logo on the black helmet for the jersey numbers and names instead of white.

The black uniforms are terrible and uninspired imo. Would have loved to see green numbers and letters outlined in white similar to their recent fashion jerseys.

No one's ignoring the idiot owner, front office, and coaching staff. Many here have been calling for their heads too, and yes, it's INSANE that JD was given another draft to fill the holes he created over the last 5 years, but guess what? JD being a sh*tty GM and Woody being an sh*tty owner didn't make ZW perform like a bum for three years. That's all on him. He's a professional athlete and he sinks or swims on his own. Wilson would have still been a 1st round pick if the Jets didn't take him, so virtually the entire league rated him near the top of the QB class. He fooled them all.

Zack DID screw us. He was drafted by an NFL team (regardless of how high) and was the lowest ranked NFL QB cumulatively over 3 years. If he was drafted in the 6th round instead, he's still be considered an abject failure at the position. Who's fault is that? My mom's? Cmon.

This is not rocket science. No team is interested in Zack Wilson because he is a bum and one of the biggest busts in the history of the NFL. Maybe all the former Wilson fanboys can start a GoFund me campaign for him so he can shuffle his way back to Utah to that baggage claim job at the airport that he probably isn't qualified for either. This friggin guy cant even get run out of town properly. F him already!

The team is built to win now so the goal needs to be a Super Bowl appearance. How can it not be? Rooting for a playoff appearance and maybe a 1st or 2nd round win is what you do when you have a young up and coming QB who has many years of success ahead of him. The Jets clearly don't have that. Rodgers wasn't brought in to win one playoff game and be content. He's here to win it all. The Jets have been losers for so long that many of us have been beaten into submission and have lowered the bar of success so low in order for us to at least feel a ripple of joy. F that! Super Bowl or bust!
