If Aaron Rodgers is truly the GM/Decision maker - Who does he want at #10?
Maxman replied to Jdeet's topic in NY Jets Forum
Just laughed out loud, this is great. You can have Cobb or pick the 1st round guy. Aaron: Give Randall his money. -
I have a copy here I'll scan it and post in a bit. I wish. Haven't heard anything so it looks like post draft is the plan again.

Tony Pauline (from JA board) on Malik Nabers Character Concerns: Merged
Maxman replied to hmhertz's topic in NY Jets Forum
Daniel Kelly who is a former NFL scout (If you know you know) wrote this: LSU wide receiver Malik Nabers is one of the more challenging evaluations I’ve done because he has elite traits, but they don’t always translate on game film. He leaves me with an unsettled feeling in my gut ⎯ and that’s after studying him in a good number of games in 2022 and 2023. I can’t ignore that feeling. For every ‘wow’ play Nabers produces when he blows the doors off a secondary, there are a couple of passes thrown his way when he lacks concentration and his route running looks undisciplined. Nabers loses focus and/or interest at times. Occasionally, he’s not in the right spot or he’ll drop one he shouldn’t have. That scares me as someone who has aspirations of getting back into the league as a scout and one day running a team. From a management standpoint, that risk has to be accounted for. The only way to do that is to drop his value on the board. Two years of tape doesn’t lie. -

How would you feel about this being the Jets OT situation week 1
Maxman replied to AFJF's topic in NY Jets Forum
Will he be able to get hand signals to whoever is on the field in time for it to matter? -

Bakhtiari really can't happen here. Rodgers is all out of good will dollars. If he wants to get another friend some money, they should go see if Cobb will help them out. If there is no market for him, and they sign him super cheap, he still would be lower on the depth chart than Carter Warren at this point in time. 2019 since he played a full season and he will be 33 in September. Really couldn't count on him to even be Carter Warren's backup. -
Let's take a step back and be happy for a second. We have a QB here that is going to read blitzes and make adjustments. I am just going to stay there for now because that is a refreshing change.

Huge upgrade from the dry erase board they ran out there last year. -

More importantly what did you do to Tony that causes him to not post here? -
From a betting perspective, Bowers seems to be the safest bet. Not in the context of his ability on the field. I mean the most likely draft day outcome.

That is funny I was thinking that they hired this kid to just talk to the players. Keith Carter talks to the new coach, new coach talks to the players. Everyone is happy. I wonder what his connection to the staff is? These hirings don't seem to happen otherwise.
