#2095300 Jetnation Fantasy Football '12

There's nothing to settle. I don't give a sh*t. Just find it funny that the person running the JN leagues this year was someone who was a major contributor to making them sh*tty last year.

#2095293 Mark sanchez = Kyle Boller

And a better Tebow comparison would be Vince Young, not Roger Effing Staubach. The only difference is that Vince Young got credit whenever he was "willing" the '06 Titans to defensive victories, while Tebow got criticized as the worst QB of all-time. If Tim Tebow were black, he'd still be a Bronco and he'd be on the cover of Madden 13.

#2030962 David Freese and Carlos Beltran

Of course they are.

Only in St. Louis can washed up pieces of sh*t like Carlos Beltran, Rafael Furcal, and Lance Berkman regain the form that they haven't displayed in 3-5 years.

The only bright side to their success is that maybe people will stop saying Tony La Russa was a great manager.

#2028119 Giants’ Victor Cruz: Holdout ‘Not Even In My Vocabulary’

He went to UMASS, so I'd imagine there are a lot of words that aren't in his vocabulary.

#2028060 Why RB Tim Hightower gould be a good fit for the Jets

Posted by The Troll on 05 April 2012 - 07:10 AM

BS Hightower may in fact be the best RB out there in pass blocking and he can also can catch the effing ball. he is a very good goal line back as well

Joe McKnight can catch the ball.

Tim Hightower is a plodder coming off a knee sodomization. He doesn't add anything dynamic to the Jets offense, and with Mr. Excitement Shonn Greene as the starter, adding another three yards and cloud of dust sh*t monster isn't the recipe for success.

LMAO at the 2008 Tim Hightower highlight reel.

A.) That was four years ago, and B.) He averaged 2.8 yards per carry in 2008.

Tim Hightower is not a good running back. He and Shonn Greene may in fact actually be the same person.

Good to see you back

Thanks, and just in time for this exciting offseason in this magical Fantasyland where Reggie Nelson is a good player.

#2012757 Team Building on 189 million a year. Hal pulls plug on Yankees' free spe...

Posted by The Troll on 16 March 2012 - 04:40 AM

We will find out how good Cash is.

A-Rod, CC and Teix will eat up 70.5 million of that.  If Hal sticks to his guns, that leaves 118.5 for the remainder of team.

Cano is not going anywhere.  There goes another 16-20 million.  Leaving around 100 million.

If Rivera finally does retire, you going to allow Soriano to walk?  Or sign another closer for 10+ million.

Granderson?  Swisher?  Hughes?

It will get interesting.

Yep. Very interesting.

Only more than the payroll of half the other teams to add the final 15 players.

Poor Yankees.

#2012755 Not having the DH is hurting the NL

Posted by The Troll on 16 March 2012 - 04:37 AM

What does a manager do in the American League?

Fills out a lineup before the game and then makes pitching changes. That's it. A monkey could do it, as long as that monkey wasn't Grady Little.

#1919928 Not optimistic about this Buffalo game

Posted by The Troll on 30 October 2011 - 11:17 PM

I'm very optimistic.

They just aren't that good. It's smoke and mirrors. Today didn't impress me. The Redskins are awful. John Beck makes Rex Grossman look competent.

The Bills defense is terrible, and I refuse to believe Fred Jackson suddenly went from league average to Emmitt Smith. Stop him and we crush them. There is no way they can throw on us.

In the series, Jeter was 1 for 8 with RISP.

Quick, now, everyone blame every player but him!

#1905945 This Years super Bowl Halftime show will be...............

Better than the ******* Black Eyed Peas. That was the worst halftime show ever.

#1903375 The Official Brian Schottenheimer Dicussion Thread (Merged 4X)

Posted by The Troll on 03 October 2011 - 12:06 AM

So, every single time we lose, it's Schottenheimer's fault? This place is a ******* broken record.

He's a bad offensive coordinator and he's well overstayed his welcome, but come the **** on. Our offensive line was a turnstile. We would have gotten our asses kicked if ******* Don Coryell was our offensive coordinator.

#1878525 Tom Moore Last Night

Posted by The Troll on 18 August 2011 - 04:24 AM

Tom Moore is overrated. Brian Schottenheimer would look like a genius if Peyton Manning was his QB for the last 13 years, too.

How about 1995, when Moore was the Lions' offensive coordinator and Scott ******* Mitchell threw for over 4,000 yards and 32 TDs?
