  1. It would definetely up the ante on Payton trollling Hackett.
  2. Rodgers would take Ted Scott. While it would be a surprising pick, I think he would work well with Rodgers.
  3. Disagree. OJ went to Nicole’s house and brutally murdered her and Ron Goldman. This was a classic case of stalking a former wife. The murder also had a level of brutality to it that was off the charts. He practically took both their heads off. She had defensive wounds on her hands. The Ray Lewis case was a bar altercation that continued onto the street and into the car he was in. There’s no indication this was a premeditated incident that included months and possibly years of spousal abuse followed by stalking the killer going to her house and brutally murdering her and Ron Goldman. The two cases aren’t remotely alike. Ray Lewis made the claim of self defense which in that case is actually plausible. If you think Lewis killed these people it’s reasonable to despise him. It was pretty hard to watch the OJ case and not come away with the conclusion that he was battering his wife, stalking his ex-wife and killed her and Ron Goldman who was in the wrong place at the wrong time close up over an extended time period in a very nasty and brutal way.
  4. Worst case when Mike Williams is healthy he can explain what the gold zone is.
  5. It was up for debate in the jury room. Don't think that I agree with the decision I don't. I'm just telling you that was what the defense made the trial about and it worked.
  6. Now that Boyle is off the team Rodgers needs someone he trusts to leak to the press. Lazzard is the next man up.
  7. That was the defenses case. The DNA evidence was iron clad. It was OJ's DNA. Some of the evidence was moved and the police were either intentional or simply negligent. The police crediblility in handling the evidence was a key part of the trial. It went on for weeks. The police being racist was also a key part of the defence stradegy. You may not like it but that's what happened at the trial. It's not at all irrational to think the police mishandled evidence and OJ is guilty based on the prepondernce of hard evidence. The Jury felt he was not proven guilty based on exactly what you claim is irrational. DNA being used to find out that the police and justice system convicted many innocent people. It's either incompetence or something else...
  8. I don't think the DNA was in question. I think they created doubt about the chain of custody. I watched the trial. It was clear OJ did it and it looked like the cops moved some evidence to make an allready air tight case better. Cochran did a good job of getting a sympathetic jury to believe the cops were lying. There is a good probability that the cops screwed with the crime scene but there is no scenario where OJ didn't do it.
  9. The OJ edition is being released in memory.
  10. Fixed that one for you.
  11. The best reason to extend is Woody is likely to hire somebody worse. He's drafting may come up to the NFL mean over 10 years. 4 years is likely not enough time to overcome 2 years of blunders.
  12. I think he has an excellent future as a country club manager.
  13. Two books I just finished Just Mercy and the War Below. Both none fiction. The War Below is a great book about US Submarines in the pacific in WW2. Just Mercy is about a lawyer who takes on death row inmate casses. Just Mercy reads like a novel in sections. The War below follows 3 US Submarines on their war time missions. Highly recomend both.
  14. You’re ignoring that his head comes with the arm.
