  1. it is 2x harder for rookie TE to step in this of all years is the time to trade up even if you must sacrifice 2025 draft to do so and grab mhl/Nabers if you can. The only way the JETS can get a good WR is to either draft one or trade for one. They wont come here willingly. the Jets are a house of cards anyway with 3 1st round picks and Breece upcoming contracts
  2. Give the guy a break, half his staff jumped ship I bet by end of the season JD will weigh less than 200Lbs from stress and work he will have to do now.
  3. I dont know about that. He is def going to be better than Conklin but if you take your projected stats for Bowers and minus Conklin 2023 stats is the result better than what say worst of the top 3 WR in this draft stats projected to be. My guess is that the new WR2 stats will far exceed the stats of (Bowers-Conklin) and have way more impact on the run game to boot.
  4. def not worth the #10 but they could use picks from 2025 or maybe even a defensive player and make Saleh earn his stay but i would rather they just trade up in this draft and try to get MHJ or Nabers
  5. Jets should be all in on him - restructure Williams brothers and make it happen.
  6. yes but I believe Cimini also mention Jets interest in him
  7. This is probably due to him quitting on his team which was entitled sissy sh*t if you ask me.
  8. I thought we were getting a 4/5 rounder for him?
  9. Jets fans (myself included) are so hung up on the # of draft picks - the more the merrier yet the 2020 and 2021 drafts which the JETs got good reviews for and had a lot of picks, almost all those players are gone or soon to be. The facts are abysmal when you look at the percentage of players getting 2nd contracts or even making it to that consideration. Some people say increase your chances by taking more players but that doesn't work usually just means adding more bodies that they hold onto until the bitter end to try and at least get comp picks out of or some sucker to trade for. It is a vicious cycle.
  10. Maybe JD is holding out for a 1st round offer?
  11. Trading back is risky IMO in that if you try to trade back in hopes of grabbing a player like BTJ or whomever and that player gets picked because you went too far you could end up in position they were last year and pick a player to ride the bench.
  12. I would be ok with this because even if he had clubs for hands defense would need to respect his speed over the top and help running game.
  13. 4/5 - I would be targeting for MHJ/Nabers. Also, every trade up made in the past years you could have said "oh but since u getting better that 1st round will now be in the 20s next year" that's the gamble they all take yet it happens every year. Value is in the eye of the beholder. BTW - I fully expect this not to happen since the Jets always disappoint but if they sit there and take an OT at 10 I will be bent.
