  1. Jets’ fans: Only the Jets would win a meaningless game against the Commanders in December to lose out on a franchise LT. Also Jets’ fans: only the Jets would lose to the commanders after a 27-7 point lead.
  2. It’s mind-boggling how we ignore almost two full-seasons of games started of historically bad QB play after a singular good game. We’re really to believe all of the bad reads, missed reads, missed open receivers, dirted swing passes, receivers stared down were because he was told by our coaches to not to do that??
  3. Totally. It was Salah’s, Rex’s and Bowles’ short leash that cause Sanch…Darn… Wilson to miss swing passes to RBs out of the backfield and dirt wide open receivers. When Zach was finally unshackled with all of those limitations he was finally able to just sling it and let it rip…
  4. This is the thought process that makes the fans of a 5-8 team lose their collective minds when the improbable doesn’t happen.
  5. Totally. I’m just glad he finally stopped calling the play where Zach dirts the ball to a wide open receiver. I thought we were done with those plays when LaFleur left. Little shocked those play calls carried over.
  6. Can’t wait until the mediocre four game stretch where we revert to holding Zach back and only calling the bad plays again.
  7. Just like we worried with Sanchez, Geno and Darnold? If Wilson has a modicum of success in 8 years like Geno had had with Seattle, I can stomach that. But that’ll mean he revamps his entire personality and work ethic like Geno did, not sure that’ll happen.
  8. Whichever narrative rankles the Jets’ fans more is what the media will choose. Today, it’s Zach had always been good, but our organization held him back. Despite 30+ games to the contrary. This was proven inaccurate ad nasuem last year with White and anyone not Wilson in Lafleur’s offense. He has four more games to regress to his baseline. If not, great, some other foolish franchise will give assets for fool’s gold.
  9. Are we really to believe the narrative that this is the first game in his 32ish starts that he hasn’t felt pressure?
  10. Feelings. Conjecture. The usual makeup of objectivity.
