  1. Yes, Dom Luszczyszyn writes analytics-focused articles and does it quite well, imo. However, I don't think you need analytics to determine that the Rangers had an awful off-season for a team with the makings of a great, young core. I've never seen a team make foolish, reactionary moves on this scale in response to a single incident.
  2. I've been a subscriber since around launch, because their NHL coverage is excellent.
  3. I was going through my saved logins and came across JN in the list, logging in for the first time in years... and was met with this sad news. RIP Savage69. It was nice, though, to see so many long-time members still active and paying their respects.
  4. This joke of a franchise just blew their cap space on mediocre-at-best players and even then, the worst offseason move will be passing on Dennis Smith, Jr.
  5. I envision him being a big proponent of Klogic, so he likely thinks that the end result validates his decision process.
  6. The thing that separates Rick from the likes of Morgan, Michonne, and Carol is that he's the only one who has kept his children alive through it all, essentially justifying his actions. He's one of the few who has a reason to survive beyond self-preservation. That is what continues to make his character interesting to me, as I've wondered myself, if I'd have the want to go on living in a post-apocalyptic world if my children had perished... but also knowing that I'd be willing do whatever it took to keep them alive.
  7. Disclaimer: Turn down the speakers if you're at work.
  8. I flew in/out of Jacksonville airport this past weekend. I'd sooner let myself get bitten than try to find somewhere to settle there.
  9. It would suck if they have to leave Alexandria. That place looks like it has some really nice trees.
  10. Hey, I have a head of thick, lustrous (albeit, increasingly grey) hair that just happens to have a bald spot in the shape of a hate symbol smack dab in the middle of it.
  11. You'd probably be too distracted by his random baldness to notice.
  12. You're way to optimistic to be lumped in with us fans who truly hate the Jets and wish them continued misery.
  13. I'm happy that Sanchez is still terrible. I value being on the right side of a message board argument over the Jets' success.
  14. I actually have a dent in the side of my head from an injury, which also caused damage to the hair follicles due to the pressure that was built up since it was a blunt trauma that didn't bleed. The hair actually grows/falls out in different patterns but it's not that noticeable, aside from when I get a fresh cut. However, when I was younger I used to keep my head shaved low (not bic'd, but no clip), which made life interesting when the bald spot formed a pattern that looked remarkably similar to a swastika, which was even worse considering that, to the average Joe, I appeared to be a giant skinhead (though I wasn't) and was immersed in a scene that included a lot of skinheads - most of whom hated Nazi skins. I was quite happy when it morphed into a pattern that made it look more like a baseball.
