  1. Past hour
  2. I don't have a strong opinion on Latham, just sharing what i've heard - some teams like him a lot. While recognizing that WM last year proved that we're never in full possession of all the insider info, there's strong belief that the Jets would potentially entertain a trade down some 3-9 spots down, but unlikely beyond that; which is supported by the homework we've done on OTs likely to available in the teens. The tea leaves say - Odunze, then an assortment of Tackles in the first -- with WR later. I'll leave the character stuff up to the ppl who interviewed him and talked to staff RE Rattler. On film however in SC, he laid out a compelling case for his ability to manage the NFL passing game.
  3. I think Rattler is no good. Thomas i was thinking of in a trade down scenario I'll be elated if Alex leatherwood..... i mean jc latham does not make it to 10. I'll be dancing naked in my living room if that happens.
  4. Today
  5. Sounds like Latham might not even make it to 10. Brian Thomas to the Jets isn't a thing - just putting that out there. I feel the exact opposite, might be one of the best day 2 QBs i can recall in 15 years. Weird that we're not in agreement lol
  6. I think there's only a list of 4, maybe names we could end up with, barring some team like PHI bowling us over with big trade. Otherwise even in a scenario where we move back 4-5 spots, our big board stays relatively stable. If we draft at #10 and end up with Fuaga, that will be disappointing. Don't hate him, but at #10? I don't know how we end up with him as BPA
  7. Also Spencer Rattler is probably the highest I’ve ever had someone on my do not draft list. Absolute ass hat POS
  8. I agree if we are going for broke with Salad and JD just go trade whatever it takes to get the WR you want. On the other hand if they are not going for broke and waiting for the board to play out and it plays out wild like Minnesota sitting at 11 and hoping JJ or one of the other top 4 QB’s slips down the board the Jets should waste no time in selecting the QB for life after Rodgers. The roster is good enough as is no draft IMO if Rodgers still has it.
  9. Looks like they ranked every position group from best (4.0) to worst (0.1), and because there are 32 teams they took out scores ending in .2 and .7 The tiers are formatted by color which is a nice touch, and overall it’s a neat idea, but clearly biased. 1. They don’t allow teams to share the same score in any particular position group. I find that questionable. Stats are very often tied in the NFL 2. The rankings are wildly subjective (ie, QBs are ranked: Mahomes, Allen, L Jackson, Burrows, Rodgers, Prescott, Stafford, Stroud, Herbert, Purdy, Hurts, Love, Cousins, Goff, Tua, Lawrence, Murray, Smith, Mayfield, Richardson, Watson, Steelers, Saints, Young, Bears, Levis, Jones, Raiders, Patriots, Vikings, Broncos, Commanders) and we don’t even know who some of the QBs will be much less how well they’ll play. But it’s nice to see the Jets ranked #2 at something in the offseason.
  10. First Round, yes. Day 2, meh, depends. Day 3, no. When it was an All-Day affair on Saturday/Sunday, with IMO MUCH deeper and more insightful analysis of prospects than today's "ex-players yell at each other in outlandish suits while a lone draftnik rolls his eyes and tries to get a word in" coverage, it was all must see TV for me. The NFL won casuals in prime time, but lost me for most of it.
  11. Jets on paper are about 10th in my mind but they have proven zero the last 15 years. If Rodgers does not come back and be much better than average we are going no where.
  12. Chiefs, Jets, Bengals and Ravens are the top 4 in the AFC. Throw in a few nfc teams, id put the Jets at 5.
  13. We are working on an updated JetNation Power Ranking article. Just curious, with the free agency moves so far, where would you put the Jets right now?
  14. Can someone get Cliff and send me his notes. Not sure what I am looking at there.
  15. It is just a press release that I was passing along. I didn't consider it to be big news, just sharing the info. I don't really care who the sponsors are and on the surveys they always ask \ I always get it wrong. I got tickets to a VIP area the last game of last year. Turns out the old sponsor left dodge, that is how I got the tickets. NOBODY was in there. A section that could hold 200 and there were like 6 of us. Cash bar though with free soda. I cleaned up big time that day haha.
  16. No, you get a ratings boost for on time PSL payments.
  17. The only time I missed watching it was when my son had baseball games. I remember coaching 3B and having someone screaming to me that the Jets just draft Mark Sanchez during one of his games. Day three of the draft? I might be cutting the lawn late in that day.
  18. The exact moment the Jets should have bailed

    2 Days Left

If one of the top QBs are there at 10, does JD take him? I have been hearing some good things about McCarthy, and liked the way Harbaugh praised him. There are ways to say he is the best in the draft just to say it, and then there is actually meaning it.
  20. I listen to the Ringer Draft Podcast (née Fantasy Football Podcast) and they’re convinced that if Marvin Harrison Jr’s name were Fred Harrison he wouldn’t be as highly regarded. He’s still an amazing prospect but his name gives him a bump. I think Nabers is in the same tier and like the scouts said, he has an extra gear that MHJ doesn’t.
  21. I almost feel like Baktiari is a sure thing, we either draft WR or Bowers, or trade down. I don’t see this pick going OT after reading how many stupid people think it’s the best plan.
  22. JJ McCarthy at three because Kraft would be amazing
