  2. Please....spare us all your bull****. You pulled the biggest BUSH LEAGUE move a FF GM can pull and I threw you out of the league for it. You can spin it anyway you want. You acted like a cry baby and you took your ball and went home...but before you did that you tried to RUIN the entire game for everyone playing it. Not sure how this fits into to your" kids are spoiled and treated special" but maybe Dad should have treated you a little bit better...this way you wouldn't be such a bitter prick all the time. always crying about YOUR rights all the while stepping on everyone else's .

  4. i always hear people say "i want to be famous" or "i will be famous one day, just watch." personally, i think fame would be horrendous. who wants to be hounded everywhere they go? i get pissed when the lady in front of me at the grocery store pays too slowly. i wouldn't mind being filthy rich but i see fame as a negative consequence of success. i'd much rather be rich and anonymous so i can enjoy my money-- go to resorts, vacations, dinner without being hounded. what about everyone else? to avoid confounding factors, assume you're equally rich in either poll choice.

  6. what exactly do you take umbrage with? why the need to "go out famous?" even you said he figured he might as well be famous for a second. only an extreme narcassist would kill innocent people to satisfy some petty urge for 15 minutes of "fame."

  7. Mangini complimented him earlier in the season for getting rid of the ball. Lately they have been blaming the sacks on undisciplined drop backs by the QB and some probs with blitz recognition. Tasker BLOWS. I don't see skittish. I think Clemens is fearless. he just gets confused at times

  13. my guess is that the future big spenders for NFL (season tickets, corporate sponsors) will be younger generation that goes to college and matures out of music that glorifies gangsta callin women ho's and shakin bootys,,They will have matured by the time they are spending money to not care if NFL is highlighting hiphop (they will actually be pissed if NFL is)..and the future big spenders are probably educated enough even at this young age to have a cross mix of tastes and not to be 'put off' by NFL not having hiphop at halftime show.. The future younguns who listen to hiphop 20 years from now

  14. yeah.. that the majority of people like **** music. **** it i'm just gonna say it: which is why rap is popular. the whole rap lifestyle is a joke. you don't see "rock stars" killing eachother. rap isn't so much about the music as it is making money. call me ignorant if you want but it's not hard to understand that every rap song pretty much sounds the same

  15. I did not read this thread so I may be going against the trend here...I like this choice. The halftime show is usually painful, especially the musical acts (anyone remember Up With People? lmao). U2 after 9/11 was special, other than that bleeh. I think Petty is a great songwriter and his band kicks A, and they are not some sort of corporate rubber stamp like Aerosmith.

  16. Bob, As we've talked about radio in the past, I have bags & bags of old airchecks on cassette I've had no way to convert to digital form (without going into a Production studio somewhere), and now that I'm not on the air anymore, it'll be a great trip down memory lane to go through all of my old tapes & compile a nice "best of me" that I'll have on the iPod, put on CD for more long term storage, etc...

  17. LOL. What a dumbass. Nothing like twisting something to make it fit your argument. Real fans of hip hop dont listen to trash like that, Chingy or any other "artists" that make it big with a stupid jingle. Crank that is NOT Hip hop. Crank that is pop music. Thats something for the kids to download ringones for. Thats club ****. Real hip hop is for REAL Emcees..Run DMC, Jay-Z, Biggie, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, KRS-One, Styles P., Jadakiss. Some artists came out hard...and then went "pop"ish. (Eminem, Fabolous...etc.) To each his own...but to base all of hip hop on som

  18. How about a compromise? An over-the-hill performer, rapping.... like, Deborah Harry and Blondie.... Fab Five Freddie told me everybody's high DJ's spinnin' are savin' my mind Flash is fast, Flash is cool Francois sez fas, Flashe' no do And you don't stop, sure shot Go out to the parking lot And you get in your car and you drive real far And you drive all night and then you see a light And it comes right down and lands on the ground And out comes a man from Mars And you try to run but he's got a gun And he shoots you dead and he eats your head

  19. lol that was me you whiny sod. You only agree with him because he supports your team. That's pretty much the mark of death right there. How exactly can a Pats troll convince me that Lil Pats fan over there isn't one of them by praising him for being right? LOL You would have done far more to convince me by claiming he is wrong. Besides hasn't he already contradicted himself? He claims people hated the Cowboys and Niners while also claiming the Pats aren't hated across the country, because the teams the people that hate them have a reason to do so. Then he claims he hates th

  24. I listened to A LOT of rap in my younger days and I mean a lot. Rap wasn't all that different back then. Once college passed and I had kids I haven't really listened to it since. As long as you don't become the music you listen to you will be OK. Once in a while if the kids are not in the house I will throw on some old school rap. Just can't picture driving the SUV with the system pumping to little league fields.

  32. yea what is with all thye defending of all things Patriots the last few days LBS? I'm pretty sure you've always been a Jets fan-then again I don't really pay that much attention to every post I read...so maybe you've always been one of the glass-is-half-empty guys

  36. Heavy Metal??? I listen to Rock Music, not heavy metal. As bad as some rap music is, the worst of all is British rap. My God that stuff makes me sick.

  37. Agreed. Rap is the music enjoyed by people who will never be able to compete with my kids for a job. Hiphop is the culture (clothing, gangs, general ignorance) enjoyed by rap fans...a culture whose members will never be able to compete with my kids for a job.

  43. It really is beautiful. The Pats have united our country again. We have an altruistic common cause to unite against them. The Pats are kinda like the Bush presidency. At first you kind of feel sorry for them because they are so pathetic, but ultimately people realize they are corrupt and must unite against them...mostly because they abuse power. haha. It's true for me anyway...and I never supported or voted for Bush or the Pats. Both are filth.

  44. he never said that he would not be a burden anymore BECAUSE he was going to be famous, as you say. he stated that he was a piece of **** and wouldn't be a burden on his friends and family anymore. then he said he would go out famous. i don't think it had anything to do with him wanting to be famous, from all acounts he was a very shy kid. I think he was just stating that, hey, im dead but at least ill be famous for a second. and to say that he killed people because he lost his girlfriend and his job is ridiculous. did you even pay any attention to the coverage? his parents divorce
