  1. Trades: Trade Vilma to ATL for a disgruntled DeAngelo Hall. Trade Chad and Coles to KC for their 2nd round 2008, and 4th round 2009. FA Acquisitions: OT Stacy Andrews (CIN) OG Alan Faneca (PIT) WR Bryant Johnson (ARI) Draft: 1st: Vernon Gholston (OLB/DE), Ohio State Height: 6-4. Weight: 260. 40 Time: 4.58. Younger and cheaper than a sure-to-be tagged Suggs. Bigger and quicker than a youthful Joey Porter. This guy has racked up 30 Tackles for loss, and 21 sacks in two seasons; not to mention making Jake Long look silly. 2A:Michael Oher (OT/OG), Ole Miss Height: 6-5. Weight: 325. A slightly better version of Justin Blalock; like the former Longhorn, can play guard and tackle. His mean streak and technique have coaches giddy; He's a natural knee bender and plays with incredible leverage 2B: Limas Sweed (WR), Texas Height: 6-5. Weight: 218. 40 Time: 4.54. A king sized possesion reciever. While he's not going to run by anyone, his height, hands and leaping ability make him a legitimate threat in the passing attack. He's more of a Plaxico Burress than a Randy Moss, but definately gives us an adequate red-zone threat. 3rd: Jasper Brinkley (ILB), South Carolina Height: 6-2. Weight: 257. 40 Time: 4.58. Brinkley is a monstrous linebacker who will be able to play numerous positions on an NFL team because of his impressive size and speed. Brinkley and Vince Hall, are the top inside linebackers of the 2008 class. Brinkley is the David Harris of this year's draft, and due to an ankle injury will last to this point in the draft. He's a must get. 4th: Jason Shirley (NT), Fresno State Height: 6-5. Weight: 330. 40 Time: 4.98. A monstrous nose tackle who runs a sub-five 40? While this position gets neglected until the fourth round, the coverage skills of Revis and Hall, combined with the pass rushing of Gholston and Co. make D-line less of a glaring need. The Line has improved considerably since the bye; Mosely, Pouha, Drob, Coleman and Ellis have really come onto their own, and now Kareem Brown from the Patsies (who is like a red-shirted draft pick anyway) allow for the hesitance in drafting DL. This guy is big, tall and quick. 5th: John David Booty (QB), USC Height: 6-3. Weight: 210. 40 Time: 4.73. Booty possesses a very good arm, and can make all the throws. He has the mobility to get out of the pocket and pick up some yardage. Norm Chow said he had the best combination of physical talent he

  4. C'mon now.....he was taking advantage of grandma. That's not right. Plus, if that was MY grandma (God rest her soul) SHE would have punched his lights out. Where do you think I got my "edge?" She used to tell me this story of when the N*z* German soldiers walked down the street, alley, whatever, in her village, (town) in Calabria, Italy. She was young - and all the young girls gathered by the window and spit at the soldiers as they walked by....and then they would run and hide. Oh that grandma!

  6. sorry guys, setting up a cat house for my grandparents, and going to old country buffet with them wins out over posting, today at least My grandma goes to the lady at old country buffet, " so are you ready for christmas?" she just nods her head. We also bought a Christmas card for my grandpa, because apparently she forgot to buy one ( i just let her do as she pleases, theres no arguing with her) BUT what really pissed me off is the guy at Hallmark, who offers her the rewards card thing, where they send stuff to your house. I told him no, she doesnt need it. He still continues to have her apply and give her cards for it. My grandma wont remember she has been there, and now she will be getting junk mail about hallmark. hallmark is evil, whats that new holiday they invented? Love day or something. Bullsh!t

  8. I'd say it's about 60-40 they trade him. Lets face it Clemens hasn't exactly lit it up. Tangini can get away with an 8-8, 7-9 next season, but another 3-13 sends them to the unemployment line. Not many veteran QB's out there this year. Which incidentally makes Chad's value higher. I suspect they are going to put a 2nd or 3rd round minimum on him. If no one coughs it up they keep him. I think someone will

  12. Great analysis. I am thankful Freeney is out. He owns Matt Light. The only point I would disagree on is the weather factor. I think that takes alot away from the Colts who maximize team speed at home. Even with the quasi-fake carpet in Foxboro, if the conditions are wet, I think the Colts' D lose more then the Patriots' D. On the flipside, I think you hit the nail on the head on O. Brady has been getting too locked onto Moss the last few weeks. I do not know if they are pressing for the record books or what, but he is not playing to his normal strengths. I would give Manning the edge. I doubt the Patriots would overlook anyone. Especially inthe playoffs. The Patriots have been served humble pie by the Colts the last three years and for about 50 minutes this year. Both teams are capable of beating the Patriots.

  24. Please...Please do! Who appreciates floaters to the DB? I don't see any other professional athletes dad's coming to their rescue. I understand where he is coming from....but as a father...you can't walk into your sons job and complain about how he is being used when he is getting paid like everyone else. Worry about dad stuff...not the media and his lack of playing time.

  25. Wow, just wow guys. I guess you have to be a dad to understand where Chad's dad is coming from...this is a father's love for his son. Maybe when you guys are old enough to understand and you happen to have a child that people are trashing you might sing a different tune. Unless of course you feel like trashing him/her yourself. You'll make a great dad for that.
