I didn't read your post. I just wanted to let you know that.3 points

This is my 1sr thread here, but I was just thinking that I am now glad Belicheat quit the Jets head coach position. Because we could very well be in the hot seat right now, and being embarassed even more so then normal. I now gladly take our past track record since BB ripped off Leon Hess. You see my fellow Jets fans, we are not the losers now! What say you? Semper fi2 points

This is exactly why as a GM you can't let your emotions cloud your judgement. You actually just made an argument that we should give a player who is banged up, injured and on the downward part of his career an extra two years because he got hit hard?? This is the NFL, coles was getting paid extremely well to go out and take those hits. He got "a $13 million bonus in 2003, a $5 million bonus in 2005 and total base salaries of more than $9 million over the last five years, meaning he's averaged about $5.5 million a year since the expiration of his rookie contract while averaging about 950 rec2 points

Since Bob loves mock drafts, i couldn't resist. Resignings Kerry Rhodes - extended 5 years, 20 millions, 4 million SB. (this should keep him happy, lord knows we need him. Dewayne Robertson - Renegotiated salary. If this were to happen it could be messy since he is used to making so much damned money because of his draft position. Anyone else happy we are not in the top five? 4 years, 12 million, 2 million SB. Victor Hobson - I hate him more than anyone on this roster, well, next to Bryan Thomas, but it's close. We should resign him for cheap since he is one of the worst st1 point

I'd be ok with rogers, or jenkins as well, neither of them played 34 NT, although i think it can be taught. I like Sedrick Ellis, if he is there ta 6 and Bennett...i mean McFadden, is gone at 6 i'd be happy with Ellis. If he is the pick, the jets better hold on to their anger in week one when Ellis gets blown back ten yards just as d-rob used to. They are too similar in size, if you want ellis, you better resign d-rob, or another DT to help him out at LE.1 point

See below post, but i think it is a reasonable trade. Coles is a receiver that jumps in to contribute right away, and Pennington could save herms job. We need the picks, so stacking the Chiefs isn't really a concern. (stacking...did i just say pennington is 'stacking' a team? lol) Argue with P North on that one. I think the trade is more than possible. Find us a NT that can take his place. The only NT's available would be through trade (hampton), or the draft, Okum, or Bryant. Either way, Robertson looks like he will be the nose for this team in 08.1 point

He was just as important to the late 90's Yankees as Thurman Munson was to the 70's Yankees. he should get #21 retired.1 point

What's really funny is that you and RyanLeaf16 have the same IP address, so I think the joke is on the dumbass who thought he could get away with it.1 point

I have 3 guitars and bass. The bass and 2 guitars are worth about 1 grand a piece and the other guitar about $500. I have them in cases that are so damn strong they would even repel Max's gay advances. This guy is an idiot/1 point

Damn, bet the farm on that one. Tank took some good shots before he fell chin first into the canvas. Kimbo's punches were landing on the mark. Very quick fight, the exchanges were not going in Tank's way, good short punches by Kimbo, Tank showed frustration early, shaking his head, maybe he felt he missed his opportunity, dunno. This one is going to hurt for a few weeks, kinda feels like when I bought the Tyson vs McBride fight, only this time I didn't spend $50.1 point

If mangini was caught cheating on his wife would that make you feel better about having a scumbag as a coach too??? Justifying your wrong because someone else did it first seems like quite the stellar logic.1 point

O'neill was the heart of those teams. The Yanks have not been the same since he left imo. Hell, he was more of a true captain than Jeter ever has was/been. Only Mattingly gets more love from the Yankee fanbase than Paul O'neill.1 point

I think we should try to resign him but the reasons you listed are all wrong. You don't resign a player for his heart or because he's taken so many hits (that actually worries me a bit). If we resign Coles it's because he's a damn good WR who still has a lot of production left in him.1 point

Not to mention if you knew a blitz was coming and your receivers all ran short routes to give you options. Look how the Patzies "O" looked against the Giants in the Super Bowl. Without the benefits of those tapes they were just a bunch of inept clowns out there.1 point

I dunno. The article implies the FO actually guaranteed the next two years of his contract. I may be mistaken but don't recall that happening too often. Any of us who work for large corporations have been verbally told our jobs are safe and that doesn't always pan out to be true. Telling Coles he will be a Jet forever is no different. Coles is at least guaranteed mega millions over the next two seasons. Had he had a injury free season I think a extension would have happened. He didn't and you can't blame the FO for proceeding with caution.1 point

I'm skeptical of Brady's skills at this point more than ever. He has never made great throws that have impressed me like other QB's have and he was the one who directly benefited from this taping.1 point

I think the Oceanic 6 are the ones who decided to leave or we forced off the island...I think Sayid is protecting the people who are still on the island and Ben is helping him because in the long run it's protecting the island's location too. Maybe they stayed behind and are just going back and forth. Obviously from the Photo the rescue party was holding showed Ben in what looked to me like an airport terminal. add that to a room full of passport and Ben most likely has been off the island before....wouldn't be a big deal for him to find his way back. I mean didn't the guy who f1 point
