  1. I'm not one to call people out but come on. SERIOUSLY. Its been 2 games and you are already gonna throw in the towel?? This team needs your support not your gutless reactions & speculations. Sure i'm not gonna lie i get frustrated at times and criticize this team (looking back now i think my fire Sutton thread was my frustration getting the best of me which is wrong). But at the end of the day loss or win i got this teams back. I was confident we would win and so what if we didn't? The only thing this means is that when we go to New England it's a MUST WIN. This team will pull it together. We are better than we were last year, there is no doubt about that. I can't stand all these peeps making threads crying about season over and we have no chance. If you want to be a whiner follow Chad to Miami. You'll have plenty to whine about there. STOP THIS OLD JET FAN METALITY THAT THE WORLD IS AGAINST US. LETS FIGURE OUT HOW TO FIX THIS TEAM INSTEAD OF TEARING IT DOWN. If the fans improve their morale so will the team. FIGHT ON. Now we'll see what not only this team is made of but also what its fans are made of.

  2. Cowboys are going to be the team to beat in the NFC east. The giants will fizzle out in the coming weeks. They havent even played anyone worth a crap yet

  3. So by virtue of playing the same position, therefore he is the same player with the same skill set. Well then we must have been crazy for not having Pennington throwing deep out patterns for the better part of the past decade because other teams have QB's and they do it. You are just digging deeper. You want me to delete this thread for you?

  4. Why not? He fumbled a dozen times or whatever it was last year. No one doubts the guy runs like the wind and clearly has talent. Whether or not he will have an above-average career is anyone's guess. But I was told he was SO fast that a friggin' safety with 4.6 speed never should have been able to run him down in a footrace.

  5. Well Bukkake is also known as Gokkun, I have no idea how I know this, but I do. So Gokkun and Dokken are just too similar for my dirty mind not to relate the two. I listen to mostly underground music mainly melodic metal. To me underground and mainstream music just don't have the same.. passion and soul. You can even tell the difference when an underground band starts to get some mainstream play. 9 times out of ten they're never as good as they were.

  6. I agree with Boozer that $40/hour is a good deal. I took a few lessons with a nationally known guitarist and it cost me $80/hour. I also agree that not all great guitarists are great teachers. Take one or two lessons with your person to make sure you like his teaching style, and your personalities, goals, etc. mesh. Remember that guitar playing--and all other instruments for that matter--doesn't click right away. You must be committed to practicing. Good luck.

  7. I call his move the Stop and Hop. Very tricky. Positives about TJ: He has very big arms. He does not fumble a lot. And..........nothing else, I guess.

  8. $40 an hour is a pretty good deal. I used to charge that 5 years ago so I think it's reasonable today. Is the guy teaching you reputable? Do a little homework, just because someone is a good guitarist does not mean they are a good teacher. Good luck man and thanks for actually picking up a guitar instead of "guitar hero"

  10. I agree with you 100% especially about calling Cowher. This is an overmatched coaching staff. On top of everything why is Graham punting in the NFL and why do we never have a kicker who can put the ball in the end zone? By the way Rillo, you are totally wrong complaining about bad calls by the ref. That has nothing to do with why they lost. If Brady were there they would have lost by 28 points.

  14. Thought I would point out some stats from Brett Favre in 2007: The Packers were ranked 2nd in total passing yards (4,461) and yards per game (278.8), 6th in TDs (30), 1st in 40+ yards (17), and 5fh in 20+ yards (52). Also note, he had relatively inexperienced receivers (with the exception of Driver) and a unknown RB, in fact the Jets had slightly better rushing statistics than the Packers. I guess my point is, the coaching staff needs to loosen the reigns on Favre. As most of us know, Brett is a gunslinger and should be given the "green light" to play football. I've been able to watch a lot of Packers games during the years (being from the U.P.\Michigan), and if the Jets would simply play to his strengths rather than confide him to a system, the offense would open up.

  15. I don't understand why TJ gets so much love. I do not see one thing that he does well.

  19. Seriously, good post. Although I think it was Jones who was on the block for A. Thomas...It was reality check for most Jets fans and the other bandwagoner(s)....

  20. We lost.Refs didn't affect the outcome that much.Suck it up guys,it's a long season and this team is still gelling. The penalties will go away as the team gets more comfortable with each other. Special teams lost this game for us as much as anything. They just weren't that special, especially Graham.

  26. This isn't true. Let's look at the facts: Tall -- okay he is tall, that one is true. Good looking -- okay you got me on that one as well. Thin -- hahaha, he wasn't thin. Sure the few times we saw him he was thin but that was only because he went on a starvation diet the previous 60 days. Once he left he was back to skittles, twizzlers and peeps. His fake return to JI was classic though. He left Sooth a few Easter eggs as well. That was a good stunt.

  27. Bryan Thomas is playing so well it's looking like it will be harder for him to see the field unless they get Gholston, Thomas, and Pace on the field at the same time.
