  1. When he was drafted, Sanchez was miles behind Clemens in the race for the starting job since he has never played a down in the NFL and didn't know the offense. If we get to the regular season and they are tied, you have start Sanchez based on how far he would have had to come to be tied with a guy that has had 3 years in the system already. Learning and improving that much in such a relatively short period of time would make it a no brainer that you start Sanchez.

  3. I'm glad I ignored most threads here last night. My gosh a lot of us have our panties in a bunch lately. Im all for people having strong opinions, but we must keep personal attacks out of here. A message board must have differing opinions, but they mean nothing if we cant show respect for each other. I love you all.

  4. My $.02 as an Admin at another forum - that's exactly why he needed a banning. You can't have 2 sets of rules: the posters we know/like get treated this way, the ones we don't another way. If he was over the line - and that comment was way, way, way over the line - then he gets treated the same way you would the newest poster to walk in the door.

  8. Guys, settle down, no need for some of this at all. The man is dead, regardless of mistakes he made in his life (We all make mistakes) the fact of the matter is he did not deserve this, no one does. Some of the garbage posted in this thread is actually unbelievable. He was only human, like the rest of us and wasn't perfect but he'll be missed by many people and it's a shame that he was taken so young. He was a great football player too, loved watching him play. RIP Air McNair.

  9. Of course not. It's kind of hard to round the bases when you're stinking drunk Seriously, and on topic, I really feel bad for his kids most of all. Imagine not only losing your father, but then finding out he was cheating on your mother, which ultimately led to his death? Absolutely horrible. Losing a parent at any age is rough, but to lose one like this is...

  10. Wow! What the heck is that thought process based on? Did Klecko put his head in the microwave again? Manning doesn't have the toughness or clutchness required to be a Steeler. That would be a TERRIBLE fit. He'd fit much better on the Chargers. I guess people really ARE taken in by all the hand gestures at the line of scrimmage? What I find interesting is how Peyton fans are always making excuses. What is this, "If he was on the Steelers..." or "If he was on the Patriots..." nonsense. He is what he is, or isn't as the case may be. He isn't a big game quarterback. He n

  16. tie goes to the player who will be here in 2010. Start Sanchez. See ya Clemmy. A tie isn't good enough for Clemens - he needs to be excellent to win this job.

  21. It's actually pretty simple. You have to buy a thick enough cut of meat with some fat on it, so a whole ribeye works well. It has to be either USDA Prime or Choice, the latter of which is much more economical and can easily be found in cryovac at most "warehouse" stores. You first take the meat and rinse it thoroughly under cold water and then pat completely dry with paper towels. Then, you need to wrap the meat in a clean, white dish towel and place it at the bottom of your refrigerator (where it's the coldest). Then, once daily, change the towel for a clean one for up to two weeks.

Everyone has there own limits. What I find really, really interesting is that Arsis requested that I put him on ignore - which I did.....I just happened to read this while logged out and felt the need to respond. Anyway, what I think Arsis ought to do is put me on ignore as well. Seems he has an ax to grind with me. In the spirit of a kinder, gentler JN - just do yourself a favor and ignore me. That way you wo

  46. Here are some basic tips which have done me well over the years: 1. Make sure you have pre-heated your grill at the highest setting. Once the grill is hot, take a metal brush and scrape the grates. Next, put a little oil on a paper towel, and using metal tongs, rub the oil on the grill. You now have a seasoned grill which will prevent sticking. 2. Keep things sanitary, especially your hands, cutting boards, platters and utensils. Never put cooked items--especially meat--on the same platter on which you have brought them to the grill. 3. When cooking steak, make sure you let
