  7. Crazy. 86 was the year I really started getting into sports as a kid. I barely remember it. I remember players, plays, going to a couple of game (the whole experience), but dont remember the games all that much. Just remember thinking that being a sports fan in NY was awesome. The Mets won the WS, the Jets were good (i thought Kenny O was a god) and I wont lie, I loved Little Joe Morris and LT. Anywho, the best Jets team of my time was the 98 team, no doubt. 04 was damn good too, but 98 was the best. The funny thing is this team IMO is just as talented and probably more talen

  9. In all seriousness, that's pretty cool, Phil. Congratulations. I AM surprised they didn't get Deegan's view, though. I mean, he IS an "expert" that can be consulted in the "Ask the Experts" forum on his board. I always wanted to ask him what he learned while playing defensive end at Southern Connecticut that can shed some light onto the greatness of Lawrence Taylor.

  11. 19,340'. Lots of emotions running through me here. Mostly exhaustion. It took 10 hours to get here, and there were another 3 1/2 hours to get back down to camp. Then, pack up and hike 3 more hours. Very long day, but worth it!

  14. As far as our rushing attack is concerned, When I watch some other teams with good ground attacks, I see what the talking heads call " explosive" runs. Sometimes I wish we had more of those. However, I've come to appreciate more and more, the backs that we have. I see a lot of Curtis Martin in TJ. Its not neccessarily flashy, but it is absolutely effective. D.Woodey said yesterday, that he likes to c the look on opponents faces when he's pounded them into submission, and they got "nothin in the tank" by the end of 3rd qtr. I felt a little jealous of some of the more explosive backs b4, but I b

  22. That question could be answered a number of ways, but I'm going to go with the most likely correct answer. This is clearly by no means an extremely original (or clever for that matter) screenname, are you sure you're thinking of me and not one of the other 10+ variations of people with this username over the years?
