  1. I disagree, sir. Afrika Bambaataa, Slick Rick, Eric B. and Rakim, PE and Flash's music all stand the test of time. You also have to admit that some classic rock is horribly dated. In all music genres, there are artists who trancend their era. Including Hip Hop.

  2. I remember saying that all week, and people on here were claiming that the Jets had to use TJ because Greene would just fumble the ball, and the plan is to just win it in the 4th quarter. These people of course are nowhere to be found now, and even if they were, they would never actually hold themselves accountable and admit they were wrong. Ball control offense does not work. The only thing that works is scoring points. If you want to take 10 minutes to score a TD that is perfectly okay, as long as you score that TD. But if you waste 7 minutes and get no points, or worse you just don't score points at all for a half because you're trying to "wear down" the opposing defense, you're not going to beat the better teams in this league. The Bengals and Chargers were never elite teams, they were pretenders. The Chargers choke far harder than Peyton does every single year themselves, at least Manning can get to a SB and has even won one, Rivers and the Chargers are total failures. It's amazing how people can praise Rex Ryan for being an aggressive defensive mind, but then turn around and advocate playing a conservative offensive style as if being conservative on one side of the ball is okay if you're aggressive on the other. I didn't mind this year because it's a rookie QB and TJ was on his way out anyway. But going forward, the Jets offense needs to be a high powered passing offense. I don't want to abandon the run at all, but I want the pass to be viable. The 90s Cowboys could pass the ball, and they could run it as well, but people do remember Aikman and Irvin. We don't need Sanchez to be Drew Brees, although that'd be awesome, but if Sanchez and Braylon can become Aikman and Irvin, that bodes well for the Jets.

  3. Interested in reducing crime and punishing violent felons? Legalize marijuana. Legalize it, regulate it, and tax it. Release all non-violent marijuana offenders. This will open up space in prisons for violent offenders. A lot of space. It also mainstreams a large criminal business, putting criminals out of business. Takes the violence out of this particular segment of the drug trade. It'll probably reduce some of those California wildfires being started by mountain growers, too. Money and resources currently used to enforce these victimless crimes could instead be put towards enforcing laws against violent perpetrators. Money generated from the legalization and taxation of marijuana could be used to fund crime prevention - or any number of things. There's a thesis. Get it done.

  4. The Pats won their 1st Super Bowl in Brady's 1st year as a starter. He also drove the team down the field with 90 seconds left in the Super Bowl to put his team in a position to win. Pats reeling in the 2nd half? They scored 18 points. Brady put the Pats up 29-22 with a TD pass with 2:51 left. The Pats D gave up the equalizer with 1:08 left. Brady leads the offense into FG range and the rest is history. BTW: Brady went 32/48 for 354 yards and 3TD's. 23/33 for 236 yards and 2TD's is average? Who threw the ball to the Super Bowl MVP? The Manning apologists are just like the Favre apologists. Unbelievable.

  5. If you announce that The Police are going to be at The Super Bowl, about half the players won't even show up for the game.

  8. +1 Why these guys are not in the Rock and Roll hall of fame is beyond me. Steve Morse is prob. one of the greatest guitar players no one hae ever heard of and that version of Lazy was great as well as Highway star. Unfortunatly Purple will never even get a sniff. Even w/out Blackmore and Lord thses guys still bring it. I would love to take my son to see these guys.

  10. I'm always reluctant to step into the inferiority-complex breach of threads like this, but suffice it to say: if a Dolphins fan can hoist you by your own petard in six words, you've just posted the four-minute mile of stupidity.

  25. You mean the Adam Viniateri era? How many game-winning TD drives has Brady led the Pats on in SuperBowls? Brady is as overrated as great QBs get. Have you noticed that the Pats haven't won crap since they started trying to rely on him to win for them. They won those three SBs because of a great defense, a smart conservative offense and the most clutch kicker in history, not because of Tom Brad.
