If you have an external blog that you currently maintain you can link to it here. Basically we will pull in your feed and get you additional readers. -Notification: Top Right hand corner. When people send you personal messages (they are now called conversations) a notification appears. You also get a notification when somebody quotes a post of yours. I think that feature is excellent. -Chat Room: Righ

  5. Jets have extended Rex Ryan's contract by 2 years. Lets see....Start of the 2nd year of a 4 year deal and the Jets sign a two year extention. Revis's case just got a lot stronger.

  7. Per Manish Mehta Read more: http://www.nydailynews.com/blogs/jets/2010/07/jets-make-flurry-of-moves-on-f.html#ixzz0vAKQbux4 What's wrong with this guy. Was it not enough to show up to Rookie OTA's out of shape? Was throwing up at rookie OTA's not a clear enough sign?

  8. Oh I get it. I have a lot of respect for Harris, no clamoring about a deal, he's gonna play this year because he's a real professional... Mangold maturely states he's not gonna hold up on training camp, and I'm happy about that... Revis taints his glory with his unneeded contract squabbles, If he does it to much, we might not remember him as "The Lonely Island" but as "The Unaffordable Luxury".

  9. I don't understand this move... why sign when we still have Revis, Mangold, Harris and Wilson to give new deals to...

  10. You don't believe that...isn't he playing for 1million this year or something to that effect? The moment he gets hurt, they'll want nothing to do with him, I can't blame the guy. The distraction part is the media IMO.

  11. I'm sick of people whining about Revis whining about money.

  12. Question for those whining about Tanny and Rex getting extended before Revis... When did your HC and GM salaries start counting towards the cap?

  13. Whatever, I want this guy on the field. What he did last year was amazing, I don't want to go into the season with A.Cro, Lowery and a unproven/unsigned rookie. Yes, the Jets were #1 in defense last year WITH Revis, he's a key part to this defense. Imagine Sheppard or Lowery covering those guys last year.....

  14. I don't understand why this is so hard for Revis haters to understand. This is his livelihood. He suffers the same injury as Leon, and he never gets the final two years of his current deal. The team would never pick them up. But Revis, of course, is supposed to show up and play because he's "under contract for three years." He's not. He's only under contract for this year, for a measly (based on his talent level) $1M. He has every right to look for more now. He'd be foolish if he didn't, IMHO. I have to agree. The Jets are the #1 defense on the strength of their #1 pa

  15. he isnt going to touch the ball.. cause at the age of 22.. he cant run down the field.. he didnt pass his conditioning test.. which of course is important for a football player.. and if running is an issue.. that will be tough for him to be a RUNNING back. Wait.. can he kick? we need a kicker.. and they dont need to do much running

  17. There's no such thing as Leon Washington anymore. Everybody understands that right? There's a guy on Seattle named Leon Washington, but he's not the same Leon Washington we all knew and loved. No way a guy who's game was predicated on east to west and being a step quicker than everyone else is going to come back from an injury like that and be the playmaker he was.

  19. There's a thing called the salary cap. I'd much rather have all our other key players than paying Revis his money and letting them all walk next season.

  25. Super. Do that with your forum. Not all employers equate all non-business websites with non-business websites that contain profanity, nudity, etc. There are more people in an office than the worker and the boss. Sometimes it is a co-worker walking past a screen laced with profanity that causes problems for the employer, employee, or both. It's easier for an employer, then, to just ban visiting this website at work. Welcome to planet earth of the past couple of decades. Glad you could join us.

  30. If the reports are true and the Jets bring Coles back that concerns me a bit. I don't know if Santonio Holmes plays specials or not (I doubt it). But the 4th and 5th WR spots have been held recently by Wright and Smith who excel at special teams. Brad Smith is still here but I am just thinking that is a lot of receivers that aren't helping out Westhoff all that much. Aundrae Allison as the 6th WR possibly? What says JetNation?

  35. Max made a football post? WTF? Is that like throwing a couple of quarters in the hat before you start your street performance? I think they are talking about Clowney as a gunner. I hope it works out because I like him as an extra WR. Cromartie, Holmes, Wilson, McKnight and the Canadian guy all have return experience. Laury from Seattle is supposed to be an excellent ST player and they may carry Kenwin Cummings who I also think is pretty good.

  38. Meh, no he really isnt. Having one great season does not constitute being the best player in the NFL. Not at all. That said, I'd probably take 10-15 players over Revis if I was to start a team from scratch right now.

  39. Oh, well now that you say so... it was obvious that I should have understood that you meant every 3rd game I've ever played in is what you meant, and not this specific game. I think pretty much everything about the post I quoted justifies why I voted for you.

  41. I think this is an excellent move and his presence will only help cohesiveness in the locker room with future contracts unresolved for Mangold, Harris, Revis, Cromartie, Holmes, and Edwards. Laveranues Coles is bound to be a calming influence and is sure to paint the Jets FO in the most positive light imaginable. A bunch of guys whose future deals are in question and they bring in the guy who could never go 2 consecutive years without wanting his signed contract addressed and readdressed both in the locker room and in the media. Very shrewd.
