  1. Can you imagine if we had chosen Tom Brady in the 6th round instead of Tony Scott/CB/NC State?!?!

  2. Yes it is crazy. He has shown enough talent and promise to be given the rest of the season to hang himself. Once a rookie QB shows he can make all the throws and handle the spot light you don't make judgements from game to game on whether he is starting material or not. He did not win the job in your conventional manner but he has clearly shown enough to be given the next 8 games as well as to compete next camp with any QB we might draft. You are debating just for the sake of being different IMO.

  3. Andy Dalton was a 2nd round pick, as was Drew Brees. We saw Geno two days ago possibly. /reverse Bit'd

  6. Baby Gronk time on Sunday FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- In a move that comes just two-and-a-half weeks before a Jets-Patriots rematch, New York claimed former New England tight end Zach Sudfeld off waivers on Friday. The Patriots released Sudfield, 24, on Thursday to add wide receiver Austin Collie. Sudfeld, at 6-foot-7 and 260 pounds, was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Patriots last May. He was nicknamed "Baby Gronk" after New England tight end Rob Gronkowski.

  7. Is it really that big of a deal to speculate Ortiz is probably taking something? It comes with the territory of the sport.

  9. We have no need at LB'er. Barnes is hurt, he'll be back. If they really wanted, they could resign Pace cheap. He's playing alright. McIntyre isnt terrible and while everyone is dismissing Coples as a bust, he was a monster vs. the Pats, inconsistency comes when learning a new position. Davis and Harris are your ILB's. Landry sucks, Allen looks like a keeper. Safety is an issue but its a devalued position in today's NFL. Not worried. Corner is obviously a problem. With 10+ picks and a ton of cap space, they should have no problem addressing almost all of them in one offseason

  12. I disagree. The way A-Rod handled it and the general perception of him is why Ortiz is beloved and A-Rod is loathed by everyone to include his own fan base. Fair? No, but this is the world we live in. Be likable and screw up? Forgiven. Be an a-hole? Sorry.

  14. Do you mean if Klecko's aunt and uncle traded their kibbles and bits? Or if we got a 2014 first rounder instead of 2013?

  15. All this Revis talk is based on the fact Cro sucks this year. 2 different animals. Cro stepped in nicely last year, but weather it is injury, age or heart, he doesn't have it this year. Revis is on a terrible team that doesn't play to his strength. Both teams got what they wanted but Richardson seems to be the breaker. If Milliner turns out to be what we hoped he would be, we robbed Tampa blind. If not, then both teams made a mistake.

  16. Maybe we trade them Geno for Revis straight up- Bit would be in heaven

  17. The REASON is the Jets just haven't had a very good team over this past year and a half time span

  18. it's a better deal than 10 mil for the 102nd ranked CB and 4 mil for the 101st. People complain about the money Revis got but the team is paying other guys.

  20. KC will get to the playoffs where Alex Smith will have great difficulty scoring 20 points and the Chiefs will lose and go hunting for a better QB.

  21. "Numbers don't matter, because Mangold and Brick." "Numbers don't matter, because Pro Bowls." For ****'s sake. http://www.footballoutsiders.com/info/methods#aly Cool! If not being the problem with the offense is the standard we're using, Geno should be your favorite player.

  24. 1. Everyone has to earn his spot 2. But we have no way of knowing that Simms or Garrard aren't better than Geno 3. So we should just hand the job to one of those guys

  27. People need to learn to enjoy wins in a rebuilding season while still realizing it is a rebuilding season. This team was not built to be seriously competitive this year, and that's what you're watching today vs a team that has been building up for years. Give it a little time. It takes more than 1 year, and you have to get stupid-lucky when your team is $50-60M in the hole (compared to others) from bad contracts, plus the extra young talent from excessive picks traded away (not to mention poor picks that weren't). I'm really only really bothered by 1 thing from this whole offseaso
