Hi Jets Fans, Titan fan here and regular poster on the www.gotitans.com site. Some Chris Johnson info for you guys -- Work ethic not the greatest or the worst. He is never late for meetings but is never the first one there if you know what I mean He likes excuses for poor performance. If he plays poorly he will try and blame it on run blocking To play well, according to him, he needs a ton of carries every game He was called a "Me guy" by former Titan (And New Yorker) Keith Bulluck He has a tendency to try and dance around looking for the big TD run rather than take a good 4-6 yard g2 points

His birthday is also the only day in the year when Belichick removes the stick from his ass!2 points

I don't think any party is being unreasonable in this process. CJ is looking for some more cash. Idzik is looking for a bargain. Both not that far off. If CJ can find more money somewhere else then do you really blame him? Wouldn't anyone here do the same if it was them ? And Idzik is looking for the best of the organization going forward but it's obvious he's very interested in this piece to his puzzle. The fact he hasn't signed yet or the fact we think Idzik is being Idzik and low balling really has no backing at this point. Both parties are just being smart on their end so far.2 points

He's got a cash flow problem. If he had Jim Irsay bucks it'd be his plane and security. They'd be laughing at Mr. Smiths funny jokes.1 point

I think he will wear #25. He had #5 in college so 25 is just my educated guess with 28 being unavailable. Alex Green most likely won't make the roster with him on the team. boy I can't wait till madden comes out!1 point

Is it possible that we can get off Idziks back now... I mean its only the dudes first full offseason and he's clearly made a serious impact on the offensive side of the ball... WR, TE, CB first 3 rounds and were going to war1 point

My suggestion to you is to actually read the post that someone is responding to before you decide to go passive aggro and reframe it in your own head.1 point

When I call Powell the potential odd man out, I mean it in terms of touches, not a roster spot. You cut Goodson if his knee or legal troubles are going to limit him on the field. The cap savings (which I'm pretty sure is less than $500k after his restructure) are completely inconsequential. If he can be the player the Jets thought they were originally signing, he's worth keeping.1 point

Truly, I have no problem with Michael Vick being here. The guy paid his penalty and in this country that's how we do things, so get over it. I own dogs and have been a dog lover all my life and I was totally offended and outraged by what he did, but IT'S OVER. He's a Jet QB and I will support him. I also wouldn't be shocked if he was the opening day starter. If all you haters want to stay away be my guest...I'll just upgrade my seats.1 point

The only embarrassing thing here is the moronic anti-Vick contingent.1 point

CTM and Ape together would be the worst company any single person could be stuck with. It could literally be used by the government as a cruel torture tactic to get terrorists to talk. Like water boarding.1 point

Yeah, me too. I've got to rest up, I've apparently got a whole day of being psychoanalyzed on the internt, by a guy that specializes in taking mundane statements and turning them into extremely homo-erotic innuendo. Fun times. I can't wait to find out what is wrong with me.1 point

If that's the case then that's the case. We don't need that. We need a complementary back who morphs into a 3rd down only back when he loses another step. If that's a bad fit for him them he can piss off. There's a draft coming up, and another next year. He's a used RB, not a franchise savior. And it's want more than need anyway. Plus I want even aware of his knee surgery.1 point

You are a special kind of stupid. Take your next student loan check and get a vasectomy. The world thanks you.1 point

Jack, you've been away, so I'll explain for you. 80 and Verbal have this thing where they kill each other at the first opportunity. It doesn't mean 80 knew he was scum. It just means 80's being 80. Of course, this doesn't mean 80 isn't scum. He still could be, but that wasn't a scum tell. Right now, JiF is standing out to me the most. His refusal to answer Ape's question is intriguing. Unvote Vote JiF1 point
